Some people say that pictures are worth a thousand words, video is worth a whole lot more. I contacted Brian after reaching out to many videographer who said that our project was "too small" or "not their thing. " Our project was in fact the most important day of our lives, it was the finalization of our daughters adoption. A two-year journey with many ups and downs that we wanted to ensure we had not only photos but video of for years to come. When Brian and I first talked on the phone he was so ecstatic about the idea of documenting our special day, I was thrilled to hear the excitement in his voice and the compassion and care he expressed for our adoption. The day came and he arrived at our house and blended seamlessly into the background of us getting ready to go to the courthouse. He asked very thoughtful questions that ended up making for wonderful conversation over the events of our adoption. He captured moments that we completely missed and smiles we never saw as we were definitely caught up in the moment of everything. He packed all of the best parts of the day into a 5 minute video that encompasses everything that our adoption means to us. My husband and I were married in June of this year. When the topic of a videographer came up while planning my husband wasn't sure we needed one- we had already booked a photographer. We agreed to at least meet Brian Hale and see what we thought! Once we were in Brian's studio my husband's opinion changed instantly. Brian is clearly passionate about his work; you see it the moment you meet him. He truly loves what he does and it was clearly reflected in the end product of our video. The day of the wedding we worked with his assistants, Mike and Shannon, who were two of the most professional people I've met. I was worried that the house was a mess since I had so many women getting ready together and they assured me it was not a problem (This felt like a huge deal for me at the time!!) They captured every intimate moment of the ceremony and I cannot thank them enough for letting me relive that on a daily basis if I want! Our reception had many small details (signs, toasting glasses, favors) and they made sure to get every single one documented. Mike even took a ride hanging off the back of a golf cart to get the perfect shots of us! They somehow captured me singing during our first dance which Brian was able to put exactly to the song on the video. Both Mike and Shannon captured every moment and yet also somehow stayed in the background so you didn't even know they were there! It was amazing! Brian did the editing and when I received the short and long versions of th video everything was absolutely perfect. Mike and Shannon somehow got clips of every guest either dancing or giving an interview and I cannot explain how nice it is to see everyone at your wedding having a good time on video. The song choices were amazing, the timing of everything was just right, and thanks to Brian, Mike, and Shannon I have the most perfect video to look back on for years to come. I did a ton of research on videographers in the western Massachusetts area as well as in Connecticut. Brian Hale had a great price and was very nice and knowledgeable from the first time we called him to our sit down meeting a few weeks before the wedding. He not only shot our wedding day for 10 hours, but he later told me he went to our church and reception venue in the morning to use his drone and get overhead shots! He far exceeded our expectations and we can't get enough of our wonderful videos!!!! (Both creative edit film and full length film). If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. He and his partner did an awesome job and literally got every aspect of our wedding day. He was even open to us choosing a few songs for the videos. My twin sister has yet to get married and she is definitely going to use Brian as well. You won't regret going with him!!! More...
