Hadrien Dimier photographie is above and beyond any photographer I’ve come across. He spent a lot of time going over every detail and welcomed any input into what we wanted out of our wedding photos. Our day went so smoothe we had nothing to worry about. Both he and Lisa had us relaxed and laughing the entire day! When we got our pictures I was absolutely floored. They surpassed anything I could have imagined. We actually used hadrien Dimier photographie because I was in a wedding the year before that he photographed. There are professional photographers and then there is Hadrien Dimier. He's in a whole other class of talent on his own. His photo composition skills are spectacular. The way he uses light and location makes the photos come out as masterpieces. He provided excellent and insightful advice on how to use our surroundings, and put in a good amount of time checking out the location a few days prior to our arrival. My wife Liz and I used Hadrien's photography services for our engagement shoot and wedding. With vendors, you're not always sure how everything will turn out and how people will be to work with, but Hadrien is amazing and is exactly the type of person you want to work with. My wife and I are not used to having our pictures taken, but Hadrien made us feel at ease and helped us feel our best.

Hadrien's artistry comes through with the pictures he takes, but he does so while always putting the people first. He is not hyper-obsessed with photojournalism. This means that when you look back at your wedding, you see the faces of the people you love who shared in your day, and not 300 pictures of your wedding favors.

With this said, he took some amazing shots of our rings sitting on the table, the flowers, the invitations, etc., but he makes people his focus. The kindness and skill of Hadrien and his wife Lisa means that you are working with people who are the utmost professionals, but still demonstrate that they care deeply about you and your day. Honestly, it's as if they were shooting a day for their own friends or family. Great photographers and wonderful human beings.

The pictures are stunning and really captured the magic of our day. Not only are there great pictures of us, but some wonderful informal shots of wedding guests (including two beloved family members who have sadly passed away since the wedding). It is sometimes a situation such as that reminds you how priceless and special these pictures really are, and how we are to have had Hadrien and Lisa shooting our wedding.

I cannot say enough great things about Hadrien!!! I spent a lot of time researching wedding photographers and met with five different companies (with prices ranging from $$ to $$$$). Hadrien was my first choice and, by far, the best. There were never any issues with getting in touch with him, getting responses back from him, or scheduling things like our engagement photos. I set a high bar for our photos and Hadrien definitely did not disappoint! As parents of the bride we were impressed with the professionalism of Hadrian and his wife Lisa. Key to their success is the ability to make a stressful situation smooth and bride/groom comfortable. This shines through with each photograph resulting in one of the best wedding albums I have reviewed. They are flexible with their schedule and aim to please. The day of the wedding with diminishing daylight they utilized every second of light in creating unique shots of the wedding party followed by fun photos of the reception. Of all the vendors in our daughters wedding the photographer was her "favorite". Don't look elsewhere you are wasting your time... Hadrien and Lisa made me and my husbands day and leading up to the day amazing and easy. My mom helped me out in the beginning and found Hadrien online. She was blown away by his photos and attention to detail, he is a true artist. She interviewed him as well as others. Even though Hadrien had never worked at our venue, The Fairmont Copley in Boston, my mom was so impressed she wanted me and my current Husband to meet with him. We met at a coffee shop and he sat with us for a god hour or two. We talked about his work and he presented his past work as well. He went to college at Savannah college of art and design, where he learned amazing skills. All of this was so impressive we choose him. From there we met several times to talk about the big day. We had an engagement shoot with him and it was so much fun! We did a snow shoot in the Boston Commons and spend hours! Hadrien never rushed us. He gave us the photos back a week later on valentines day and it was so special. So now to the day of. Hadrien and Lisa, his wife, showed up and started taking photos. They where very professional but where engaging. They work so well together and i trusted them completely. They where organized. When the cocktail hour and reception where taking place they had told us that they might ask us if we want to go outside the take photos. We did, it did not take to much time from the party and we got some amazing shots. We have only seen the "sneak peek" of our photos so far but we cannot believe how amazing they turned out. As a groom who was not previously familiar with any sort of photography service prior to getting married, I can attest to not knowing what to do, how much to do, or how to go about getting good photography for a wedding. My wife and I were overwhelmed with both the cost and complexity of wedding photographers in the greater Boston area. We began our search weary of either overpaying for excessive coverage we didn't want or ending up with a photographer that would get in the way of us enjoying our wedding. We selected Hadrien because we liked his flexible packages, his competitive pricing, and his elegant, yet not over the top style. He had also photographed many weddings at our venue, Tupper Manor.

Nonetheless, neither my wife nor I had ever worked with a professional photographer and thus began our work with Hadrien with anxiety thinly veiled as excitement. I can confidently say that upon our first (of a few) Skype "meetings" with Hadrien, he made it clear upfront that his focus would be aimed at helping us savor our wedding and capture moments that represent our enjoyment. He asked what was important to us and ensured us that he would not interfere with us partying during our wedding reception. He also helped us develop confidence and trust in his professionalism, craft and dedication to capturing great, unique wedding moments in addition to traditional formals/portraits. He delivered on all these promises.

The best part about Hadrien during our wedding was his personal touch to his work. He was reassuring, kind, and supportive during pre-ceremony jitters and delightful during the reception. He truly wanted us to throw an awesome party AND enjoy it while doing so. His assistant (and wife) Lisa is also amazing, very personable and sweet; she was a great help too! We worked with Hadrien and Lisa on our wedding photos this fall. They are such sweet couple, super nice to work with. We had some special requests for the wedding photos that day, he and our DJ went out of their way to help make that happen. The photos came out really beautiful. Picking a photographer was one of the hardest choices for me for our wedding. I met with about 6 other vendors and Hadrien was always ranked #1 after every comparison. Not only is he professional, he is so easy to get along with! As the bride and groom, you are taking a lot of instruction from your photographer on your wedding day, so finding someone we liked as a person was equally as important as finding a photographer that had an amazing eye and fantastic editing skills. To piggyback on my previous review, I absolutely adore Hadrien and my husband feels the same! We had an Asian American Wedding and it was an ABSOLUTE long day. Through it all, he was very professional. From beginning of time during the church ceremony, massive family gathering afterwards, a photo shoot at the park and onto a 200+ people reception. It was INSANE during the reception and we are so happy with him and his wife throughout the ENTIRE day, so calm and professional. I am so glad I have him and I could not ask for any other photographer for my wedding day! I literally cannot wait to see what he captured on our wedding day. My husband and I are beyond happy! :)

I am a Graphic Designer.
I was crazy picky about design and photography style for our wedding.
I would pick Hadrien Dimier Photographie to take pictures for any event I ever have. .. ever.

It's not every day you meet someone with the passion for you own wedding that you have. I met Hadrien and his wife at a Wedding Open house at Tupper Manor in Beverly and as soon as I saw his albums and photographs I knew we had found our photographer. His style, albums, charisma, enthusiasm and overall personality were just what I had been searching for (and I looked a lot - and did I mention I'm picky?). I wanted the candid moments to be captured - there were 8 kids in our wedding and when I say he captured them perfectly it does not do it justice. Hadrien won them over at the beginning and I think they would have gone home with him if he he offered (but he didn't - 1/2 a star off! Just kidding).

Hadrien is a professional, and he came armed with his camera and he captured our day better than I could have hoped. We now have the memories of that day to cherish forever. We have photographs (calling them pictures does them a disservice) that capture us, the real us, the crazy. fun. loving our family. us! I look at these pictures and I see so much more than perfectly sculptured poses - I see the happy that our wedding day was for all of us. I know everyone had a genuinely great time without feeling they were being bombarded by a wedding photographer.

Our details were honored, our contract was easy (even though I took forever to get it back to him - sorry Hadrien!), our sneak-peak montage after the wedding was a surprise and was incredibly sentimental, getting our pictures afterwards was effortless and every detail was captured!

I would HIGHLY recommend Hadrien Dimier Photographie for any couple who really want their day captured beautifully and uniquely. More...

Hadrien was everything we could have asked for in a wedding photographer. We were connected with Hadrien through George Street Photography and he was wonderful.

As a same-sex couple, my wife and I were worried about booking a photographer who might try to ascribe gender norms or poses on us that would be uncomfortable. Hadrien did none of that. Instead, he just let us be with one another and captured the moments, which came out perfect.

Hadrien also did an incredible job at not being noticed. Thinking back to the reception and the dancing, I barely remember him being there, but he captured amazing photos! I love that he was not intrusive but clearly was present.

I don't know where to begin to say how great Hadrien was without leaving behind his lovely wife and assistant Lisa. My husband and I got married at Tupper Manor on June 2015 and we are very happy to have chosen Hadrien Demier Photographie to capture our special day. Hadrien was an incredible photographer for my fiancee and I's engagement photo shoot. Even though he is based out of Peabody, he was willing to travel to York Maine in order to shoot us on the beach, at a place that means a lot to both of us in our relationship. My husband and I are so grateful that Hadrien could capture our day at Tupper Manor. He is the "picture perfect" package that every couple is seeking from start to finish:


- Long before the wedding, we had a discussions about the types of photos that what we were looking for and he offered great insight from experience. It was evident that he wanted to make us happy; he even took the time to look at my Pinterest board to see shots that I adored. It was also his first time shooting at our venue, so he took time to go and scout out ideas for shots ahead of time. His devotion to providing couples with gorgeous, artistic photos as opposed to cookie cutter images is unmatched!

- The week of the wedding, he was very helpful in reviewing our timeline and wishlist. He organized our pre-ceremony photo shoot with the families and bridal party to minimize how long it took and where we posed with respect to potential high heat during that hour of day.

- Hadrien is the type of person you know is a great guy the moment you meet him. His charming demeanor thoughout a day that can stressful for brides/grooms/families is a warm welcome. It was evident to everyone how hard he was working but maintained such a calm and pleasant disposition, which makes posing for many photos VERY FUN! He also brought a wonderful assistant to help with the day, who was equally as nice and took beautiful shots.

- Hadrien also will not make himself the center of attention. As a former bridesmaid, I have hurdled over a wedding photographer while walking down the aisle. I assure you that your bridal party can safely execute the processional and guests eyes will remain on your ceremony and dances and not on your photographer!

With an upcoming beachy wedding, Hadrien helped us get comfortable in front of his camera with a fun, urban engagement shoot in the city of Boston. The three of us had such a great time with going to some predetermined landmarks and seizing the moment with some impromptu photo ops. The results were spectacular! I highly recommend that every couple have a more casual shoot with Hadrien prior to their wedding not only to build a stronger relationship with him prior to the wedding day (you will spend quite a bit of time with this awesome guy on the big day!) and learn how to pose more naturally in "couple shots" (which is not always as easy or graceful as they look on blogs!), but to enjoy a gorgeous set of professional photos that doesn't include a white dress and suit. Hadrien is a seriously talented photographer. My husband and I used him for both our engagement and wedding photos (both taken in Rockport, MA) and are extremely happy with how everything came out. He made us (and everyone!) feel very comfortable during the whole process, and he and his wife/assistant Lisa captured every special moment of our very special day! His photos are very artistic and unique, and he seems to go out of his way to understand the couple's style and capture that, not just generic wedding photos. Our particular venue on the water (the Shalin Liu) had warned us that photographers in the past had experienced difficulty with the lighting during ceremonies. Hadrien was the most professional photographer I have ever had. He was amazing. He captured pictures that we would have never even have thought to ask for. The quality and color was unbelievable. We never even saw him taking the pictures and he just got everything we wanted and more. My daughters shower was great. The pictures will always remind us of a day we will remember for ever. Hadrien shot my wife's bridal shower, our save the dates, and our civil ceremony. In retrospect we wish we had arranged for him to be our wedding photographer but it was a destination wedding in Aruba. Hadrien was always on time, very professional, and most importantly always shooting. He always seems to capture the "in the moment" shots without everyone posing. Hadrien was wonderful to work with. My fiance and I were up on the North Shore from DC for a weekend and had a very tight schedule. Hadrien worked his day around the times that we were available and met us out in Magnolia for our engagement shoot. He is great to work with- friendly, responsive and creative. I could really tell how passionate he was about photography while he was working with us.
The turn around on the photos was also great. He posts them on his website (password protected) and we received a DVD in the mail a little while later. Overall, I really loved working with him and would use him again if I am ever back up north and in need of a photographer. More...
