Pleasure dealing with Greg. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable when he came to assess my office’s computers. We are running Windows 7 and Gregor installed Windows 10, upgraded us to Solid state hard drives, added more memory, and installed a network storage hard drive in our office for centralisation.Very impressed with his service and he even done some extra work for us and didn’t charge any extra. I had searched for someone that fixes laptops in my area and came across GY Computing ,as it went completely dead.I had it fixed before so called the shop that fixed it and they totally put phone down on me and then called GY Computing so it rang out and they called me right back. Amazing service. Gregor answered my call immediately about my water damaged laptop. He was able to offer a same day appointment. I was impressed from the moment I met him. He was very courteous, polite and well spoken. I can highly recommend Gregor’s service (GY Computing) for both efficiency and service. I recently had a sudden lap top failure which would have caused me major difficulties had it not been corrected quickly. My IT clever son couldn’t fix my problem and so I contacted Gregor who responded immediately despite obviously been very busy. Although living some distance away from his base he attended my house at the weekend and with enthusiasm tackled the problems I had. Gregor had a look at my laptop that was having issues recently and unfortunately it was a issue with the GPU that would require a replacement. I decided to not bother getting it replaced as the laptop is old and it would be expensive but Gregor still gave it a clean and put new thermal paste on it anyways. The laptop still works but I'm glad I knew what the issue was! I'd definitely recommend GY Computing and I would definitely hire Gregor again! More...

Has improved the performance of two rather elderly laptops that I thought may have been on their last legs. Very patient and is determined to rectify any problem he encounters. Brilliant service tonight by Gregor. Lovely guy who really goes out his way to do everything he can. My computer was running super slow, but Gregor sorted it in no time by upgrading my memory. He was very patient, even though my laptop was fairly tricky to open. Not only that, but Gregor helped me with anti virus software, and some maintenance programs and didn’t charge me any extra for configuration them, and showing me how to use them.Really friendly guy who is always available and I felt very assured he was able to help. I’ve booked him in for a maintenance check in 6 months time. He was also very honest. Once again, great service! It's the second time that we have to call Gregor to check what's wrong with one of our desktops and he always makes sure to leave the issue fixed. This time my husband's desktop broke down when Gregor was away in holiday (our luck!) and because we were stressed out with deadlines, we had to call another technician as we needed it fixed as quickly as possible. We were overcharged for a no-repair....after waiting more than ten days without the problem fixed Gregor came back from his annual leave and he quickly offered to check our computer. Not only did he fix the issue, but he did it in less than an hour and as always he didn't leave without the issue being found and assembled a whole new motherboard for us! Great service, i was kept informed at all times. very good communication. Gregor has excellent knowledge and knows what he is doing. we had him in to look at 3 broken laptops, we fixed one straight away, we ordered a cheap part for the 2nd and that is now fixed and the 3rd he suggested sending away to HP given the warranty etc - so all great :) Pricing was very good as well, i was concerned i would be over charged but Gregor was very reasonable and explained everything. I recently lost my Microsoft Excel from my computer. Had Knowhow at Curry's look at it and was told I would have to buy an upgrade. I then took it to a further computer repairer who did a bit of a repair getting Excel but not my original documents which I need. I then contacted Gregor from GY Computing who called within 24hrs and worked his magic. Got all my old documents and Microsoft formats restored in jig time. I was having issues with a slow Samsung laptop and Gregor came round and helped speed it up! Even though the laptop doesn't facilitate a RAM upgrade he used many other techniques and talked me through everything. The laptop is now much faster. I called GY last night 09/05/19 as my external hard drive had been corrupted & was unreadable as I had left it attached while Windows updated. So I could not access my information & I am a teacher so I was frantic. I tried to fix it myself but most programs were just trial versions which wasted my time scanning my drive (14 hrs) & then wanted to charge me to buy the pro version.Then I called GY & my call was answered quickly & reassuringly by Gregor. He asked me questions about my disk & he felt he could fix the issue. I was given a fixed price for the job and he came this evening after my work as I work in Girvan but live in Prestwick which fitted in around my schedule.
