I've worked in the entertainment industry for over 30years and have worked with many photographers. From my first point of contact with Guido, my experience was seamless. He is so easy to get along with and an excellent communicator and listener. This stood out to me because I had a last-minute project I dropped on his lap, and I was a bit all over the place. Guido helped me organize my thoughts around what shots I needed to focus on for my goals. He helped me select the right outfits and gave me feedback on my hair and makeup. During the shoot, he was a guiding force behind his camera. He helped me relax, have fun, and my confidence increased. His gift for working with his clients shines through in my photos. I feel that the beautiful shots he took emulate his positive attributes he shared with me. I had the most amazing session with Guido! He was so patient and professional during our 2 hour shoot. I loved how he he took time to sit with me and get to know more about me and my background before our shoot. He had good suggestions for outfits, colors, and songs to play while shooting. He even got his sweet mom to fix my shirt strap when it broke! I felt comfortable and well-taken care of the entire time. My headshot session with Guido was fantastic! Before we began shooting, he took the time to talk and get to know a little about me. We continued to talk and joke around during the shoot as well and it shows in the shots! I'm never really comfortable on front of a camera, but I was so relaxed that my true self came through in the images. Maybe I could add another star and make this a 6 star review Both my daughter and I went together to Guido's very nice Brooklyn studio. As actors, we've both had many headshot sessions done, so I have a lot to compare this one to. Besides being absolutely expert with his camera, lighting, and shot set-ups, Guido is an actor and director and he understands what the camera is seeing, and how we are projecting ourselves. I was so impressed that, before our session, he had looked us both up online and was familiar with our talents and personality. He was excited about meeting us and capturing our personalities through his lens. We spent a bit of time chatting first, so that we could get to know each other and feel comfortable. It's obvious that Guido is passionate about his work and really wants to bring out the best in his clients. He is incredibly kind and we had a truly great time. We did our own, very light makeup because what we love about his shots is the honesty and simplicity he captures. We were looking for very "real" shots/not overly made-up or posed, and we are BLOWN away with what we got. They look incredible. We look exactly like what he captured. Guido is AH-MAY-ZING!! This is the second time my 11 year old daughter had headshots with him. Last year, she was all new to this, but Guido was able to make the session fun and make her feel comfortable. The photos came out great. I believe having a top notch headshot definitely helps in landing a role because my daughter was able to book a few things. We came back this year and brought my other daughter. Working with Guido has been one of my most easiest, relaxed, comfortable and fun experiences. He delivered exactly what I was looking for.
