I was always a very sensitive child. My strong empathic abilities became clearer and stronger as a teenager when I realized I could feel what was going in a person's body who was miles away. I was also impacted by a physical challenge in my youth. At 14 years old, I had major backbone surgery for scoliosis that resulted in permanent disability. By the age of twenty, I was in constant pain and felt hopeless about my future.
