Labrador approx. 10-11 years old (rescue dog)Our Labrador suffered from severe arthritis as well as some hip issues. We have had her for the last two years and she is on daily supplements and medication. However, the symptoms have worsened recently and one of her legs started to get very stiff.I wanted to use a holistic approach and started with Acupunture with Claire Greenway. Our dog has now had 5 sessions and the improvement in mobility is very remarkable. She walks much quicker and and it seems she feels significantly less pain. The actual treatment is truly enjoyable for her as she falls asleep. Claire has a very calm personality and our dog is not anxious at all during the treatment. I was slightly sceptical about Acupuncture to start with, but it has undoubtedly worked. Claire is an excellent Vet and I would highly recommend her services. More...

I don't know what I would do without Greenway! My dog Bronte is under their care, and I'm so grateful. I struggled for ages trying so may different treatments for her sciatica issues, and my vet referred me to Greenway and she has so vastly improved. She gets relief from pain and vastly improved mobility/stamina. I really feel like my dog is in good hands and with professionals that quickly assess problem areas and pin point (literally) treatment. I thoroughly recommend Greenway Veterinary Acupuncture. Cracker, my 15 years old cross breed dog, suffers from arthritis and he has benefitted immensely from his treatment by Dr Alastair Greenway. Cracker cannot take painkillers as they upset his stomach. I also prefer Cracker to have natural treatment without any side effects so acupuncture is the perfect solution. Dr Greenway is very kind and gentle and Cracker loves to have his treatment. Cracker enjoys his acupuncture sessions so much that he lies down in front of Dr Greenway as soon as he arrives! Home visits provide more relaxing environment for Cracker and they are convenient for me too. Also I can ask Dr Greenway's advice regarding Cracker's health generally which I find very helpful and reassuring. We are very grateful for Dr Greenway's help. More...

Nobody can fool a cat. Human companions of cats will tell you how the cat only responds positively to friends, and our cats absolutely love, and loved, both Claire and Alastair. In their acupuncture sessions both sat - and Magic still sits - happily like purring porcupines and always feel happy and relaxed after a session.
