Unique I.
I came here this morning for the first time. I needed to get last minute gifts for coworkers and decided to create a tin full of goodies. Janette assisted me and was so friendly and helpful! Told her my budget, and she grabbed an assortment of goodies. Not only that, she assorted them all decoratively in each tin I brought in, all 10 of them! She took her time with me and made it so easy.I definitely will be back here. Thanks Janette for your great customer service! More...

It's funny that this is a bakery and I order breakfast burritos at least 3 times a week! The vegetarian burrito w/ eggs, potatoes, cheese and spinach is my fav. It's enough to split for breakfast and lunch because it is stuffed! More...

Thank you Greenlees for saving my butt with a cookie contribution to a annual work cookie exchange. I frequent the family's other restaurants (Rosie's and Rosalina's) but I don't often get a reason to come into Greenlee's as much. I stopped in to grab some cookies which we have a few left over and a week later they are still super soft! They have so many varieties of cookies it was sooo hard to choose! I picked up a variety tray that was decorated so cute! The cookies were all so delicious my favorite were the Mexican wedding cookies! There was a long line of people waiting on burritos. I remember the family used to be my customer and they would really brag on the best burritos I have always been faithful to Rosalina's for breakfast burritos but I might need to give Greenlee's breakfast burritos a try!! Definitely stop in for some Christmas pastries they taste good and they are super cute! More...

I am so sad...I called today to order a cake and was told Greenlee's no longer makes cakes! This is the end of a 45+ year family tradition of every celebration having a Greenlee's chocolate devil's food cake with custard filling and buttercream frosting. I have childhood memories of going through the back door, down the paneled hallway with the wedding cake high above, in anticipate and excitement for the ordering of a Greenlee's cake. The kind ladies always offered me a cookie from the case as an added treat. There was nothing better and nothing said family celebrations more than having one of their cakes. From birthdays to anniversaries, graduations and even funerals, Greenlee's was our family bakery. I am truly sad to see the end of an era that has been passed down through generations. Family celebrations will never be the same. I so wish the owners would reconsider. Best cakes with amazing memories. More...

Small bakery in the old alameda area. Me and my bf were at Rosalenas getting burritos but there was a 40 minute wait so we decided to walk around while we waited for our burritos. I walked by the bakery and I kid you not, I've driven by this bakery numerous times and never even knew it was here. What caught my attention was the sign outside saying they had good breakfast burritos. Not gonna lie, I saw a girl in the window eating a breakfast burrito and thought to myself, "I wonder if it's any good or if she knew they had amazing burritos next door." My initially reaction when I first walked in was that there was not a lot of selection, but the pastries looked amazing. I knew I wasn't going to eat alot so I got about 3-4. The cashier was super friendly, attentive, and very informative. She even suggested for us to get burritos. Turns out, Greenlee and cafe Rosalena are sisters! I def will come back for burritos here next time to compare! She gave me and my bf some cinnamon bread to try and boy was it delicious. Well be coming back REALLY soon for some more cinnamon bread for the holidays! I'm so glad everything worked out the way it did. More...

I don't understand why people wait in line next door for burritos. The burritos at Greenlee's are amazing!!!I found Rosa's burrito are packed with potatoes. Whereas, Greenlee's it's stuff with eggs and bacon.Jeanette and gabby also provide superb customer service.Whenever I go to new cities, I always ask the cops where the best restaurants are at. Why? Cause they know the city well and are skeptical when it comes to customer service. Greenlee's is always packed with cops. That's always a good sign of a local mom and pop shop with good friendly service.Don't be shy, they love giving free samples of their famous Greenlee's cinnamon bread too. More...

Greenlee's was just a stone's throw from our hotel, so it was a convenient place to stop and get breakfast. The bakery was a little bit crowded, but it was tolerable and we were able to find a place to sit. We were a party of three and I wouldn't recommend groups larger than five come here to dine-in. Most people in the bakery seemed to be regulars, which is always nice to see as a first-timer because it provides some evidence that the food is good! The interior of the bakery is cute and there is a wide selection of baked goods and breakfast items (sweet and savory crepes, breakfast burritos, and breakfast sandwiches). I ordered a lemon crepe, which was tasty and a hearty size, but all it had was pie filling, which got a little boring after awhile. A bit of zest would have been nice. My family enjoyed their breakfast burritos, however, so that was a win. When we ate here the coffee dispensers were in a slightly inconvenient location near the window and a seating area. I had to move a few times for people to serve their coffee, which was a little annoying. Other than that, our experience was a good one! I'd eat here again, although I'd try a different menu item (and maybe take some pastries to-go). More...

Greenlee's had just popped up on Door Dash this morning and the breakfast burrito sounded right up my alley. It was suuuuuuupppppeeeerr delicious! I got the sausage burrito and added bacon. The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered avocado and sour cream in addition to the normal items and they were forgotten. The green salsa is perfect and amazing. Will order from here for any time I need a breakfast burrito and must tell all of my friends and coworkers. The Greenlee's cinnamon bread in grocery stores is also delicious and I have purchased it several times. Definitely recommend this place!!!! More...

Came back to get their delicious cookies and try a breakfast burrito that everyone raves about. It was generously sized and fresh with big chunks of potatoes. A nice breakfast item for sure. For more flavor, be sure to add their salsas. The daughter of the owner has now taken over and plans to make improvements like expanding their deli to include sandwiches and more burritos. The service has totally improved already.I hope she improves the freshness of their coffee cakes and other pastries as well. This place has the potential to live up to their great reputation again, and be a regular stop for me for sure. More...

Ya'll have tried their cinnamon bread. I mean, you can find them in most local grocery stores. But have you actually been inside? I hadn't. I am always next door at cafe Rosalina getting breakfast burritos but never stop in. Well, I did a couple weeks ago and am happy that I did. There is a plethora of delicious bread, pastries, and cookies. I opted for cookies as it was Christmas time. They had the most beautifully decorated sugar cookies that were dipped in white chocolate though it looked like icing. Decadent! They were nearly $4 each but so worth it. I also snatched a bag of poppyseed rolls. Dynamite. They were soft and light and just the right amount of texture. The were great by themselves and with a little meat for a tiny sandwich. The next time I find myself on the Alameda, I'll stop in again. In fact, I cannot wait. More...
