Really happy with my experience with this company (Danny). Called today as my back door had packed it in and had been having problems with my front too. Someone visited the same day (that evening after I'd finished work) and managed to get both doors working again and replace the locks in less than 15 minutes. Being unable to lock my French doors after the mechanism broke I called at 9.30am. Luke arrived at 11.50am, having called en-route to let me know his arrival time and quickly ascertained the problem was with the gear box within the mechanism and explained what needed doing, assuring me that I'd be able to securely lock my home shortly. He was able to replace this part rather than having to put a whole new mechanism in, therefore the unexpected cost of the emergency repair wasn't as high as it may have been. I contacted Grays after the front door lock failed, Danny visited and within minutes had managed to get my door unlocked, he then fitted a spare lock system until a replacement could be ordered. On Danny returning with the new assembly he not only fitted it within minutes but also readjusted two securing latches on the door frame to ensure smooth opening and closing of the door and making it a lot easier to lock the door, excellent professional service by a very knowledgable expert, thank you. Phoned at 11.20, got a decent quote to repair for 1 hour labour, not including any parts needed. Danny the locksmith called me at 11:35 and said he would be 30-40 mins. Danny arrived on time, was polite, professional and tried every fix possible to get my french doors to align and lock. Even adjusted the front door whilst he was here. He was here the full hour and sorted the problem out to a satisfactory level, considering the age of the doors that we know will need replacing very soon. If I could give 10 *'s to the very brilliant Gaz I would!! I asked him to fix 2 stuck UPVC window locks that were clamped firmly shut. Having attempted a little YouTube DIY I could see it was going to be a job for a professional!!! Gaz battled for 2 hours to free 'the worst window lock failures' he has ever seen and now I can open both.
