What makes a great website?
A great website is all about the end user. Firstly, it's about the functionality is the foundation to ensure customer engagement and retention is paramount. The navigation, the response and the accessibility.
Secondly it is about its visual appeal, does it match your company brand, your DNA, your personality, your values, and working hard for you in terms of targeting prospects? Does the site compete with your competitors?
Thirdly if your site is between 3-5 years old, maybe its something you need to evaluate and think about a brand audit to include all your assets including your website.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Tell me the history of your business? Who is your target audience? How do you attract customers presently? What marketing have you done to date? What are your marketing needs now? What demographic do you cover? What results would you like to see from your marketing going forward? Do you retain customers easily, and what's your structure for doing so? How many customers per year, per month, per week would make a difference to your business?
Describe your creative process.
Our creative process starts with a fact find as above. We discuss your immediate requirements followed by a brief will then be followed up with a quote. If the prospective client engages us to handle the project/s. Then a further meeting is set up with one of our 11 graphic designers to discuss and work on the project. A timeline is put to place to deliver the project on budget and on time.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We require the following:
A full brief - What they want to achieve. We require a fact find on who their competitors are and what marketing activity they may or may not be doing. Have they settled on a colour palette? Is there any colours they don't want to use? Have they any idea of what they defiantly want incorporated into the project/s. Supply us with all relevant information, text and images if required. To work in partnership with us to achieve a fantastic visual representation of their expectations in going forward to market their business.
What do you love most about your job?
I love starting a job with a few pieces of the jigsaw and see it come to life to supply a client with a powerful marketing tool that not only wow's them but makes a difference to their bottom line.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working independently for over 15 years I decided to join a larger organisation who gives me as a brand client services consultant the scope to pool from a team of 11 graphic designers , 3 web programmers and 2 animated specialists
