I approach quite a few bedroom/bathroom fitters at the beginning of the year. I needed new wardrobes, new bathroom and ensuite. Duncan from Graham and Graham priced up the works on an evening, he showed works that he had allegedly completed on his iPad. We agreed a price and he gave me an indication of when the works would start. They were punctual arriving around 730 every morning and carried on with the task in hand. Disappointingly and rather rude we would find them eating the lunch such as fish and chips on the settee watching TV. They would use the washing machine randomly. At every stage of the job being completed an invoice was presented which was always paid. On one occasion it wasn't paid within 48 hours and then I started to receive messages pushing for money despite all bills previously getting paid. It transpired that Duncan owned a property in Spain of which he frequented a lot of time which seem to push back the work. Sadly, I class Duncan the same as many other trades people who over promise and under delivery especially on time scales. Duncan did some alterations on the wardrobe and agreed some other work of which he was paid cash (do not pay cash to this guy). Whilst I was away in Cyprus at the beginning of October he assured me that the ensuite downstairs would be done, he had a key to get in the house. He didn't fulfil his promise, when challenged he told me he was away in Spain again and it was his first job when he got back. 2 weeks later I started to chase. This is when he totally ignored calls, I requested the return of some of the cash and the key that he had for the house of which he again ignored requests. I visited his house to which no one answered. Eventually after messaging him that I would come round with a friend to collect he park his van around the corner from the house and sneakily put the key through the letter box - no cash. After numerous other messages he posted some cash through the letter box. I would strongly recommend you keep well away from Duncan and his company, they over promise under deliver, they will promise that it will be done say in 2 months when really it would be more like 5 months. I wouldn't trust him in my house whatsoever. You will be let down and whatever project you think you are on top of will be massively delayed by using Graham & Graham. More...

Amazing company , quickly came and measured up , was very patient with my indecisiveness, quote was received in a short time , very reasonable price , we thought it was almost too good to be true , well we bit the bullet and hired them to do the work , good communication throughout , day of delivery and installation , they basically came and did their job , least possible disruption they were prompt , I’m not even sure they had a lunch break , not much noise , workers were very pleasant , offered drinks but they must have brought their own . The finished article is perfect , just how I wanted , quiet close doors , plenty of room to hide the junk that kids accumulate , no damage to our freshly decorated room or the new carpet we had had fitted , and they took their shoes off , very respectful and thank you so much, I’ve recommended you to all my friends and family who are having work done.
