I attended a course over two evenings, a week apart to learn about the key attributes of photography. The course was very informative and delivered in a relaxed and comfortable environment. I really enjoyed it and I have learned a lot of things to put in to practice when out and about with my camera. Graeme is very knowledgeable and can give examples to demonstrate the theory in real life situations. He did a good job working with the group as there were clearly different levels of knowledge and experience (mine being the least on both parts). The break between the two nights worked well also as it gave you time to take in what you had learnt and there is an opportunity to use your camera and get further feedback on your efforts. Completed the tutorial course for photography with my mother in law. I have to say we both found it very informative and the explanations and hand outs were very good. I would reccommend this to anyone new to photography and wants to learn the basics and understand how their camera works, and how to get better results from what you have. The classes are restricted to 3 people so you get good one to one coaching and explainations and with it being a small group there are no pressures and no one gets that silly question feeling due to the small group setting. Graeme and Linda did a fabulous job of our wedding photos. We wanted to incorporate the beautiful scenery of the Lake District and this was done so tastefully without distracting from the fact that they were wedding photos. So many photographers these days take total control over what they will take photos of. With Graeme's guidance my husband and I got exactly what we wanted and were very happy with the results. I had a great time on Graeme's photography course over 2 evenings. The level of the course started from very basic principles and as it progressed the content explored some of the extra settings and behaviours of a reasonable Digital Single Lens Reflex camera. It was great for me as an aspiring amateur and I definitely learnt a number of new things, and better understood those things I thought I had a grip of. The more complicated topics were presented with good graphics to aid understanding and we were given all the time and assistance we needed to cement our learning. Thanks Graeme very enjoyable. A couple of weeks ago I attended the two part digital photography course at Hunday Manor run by Graeme. The course run on two evening for 3 hours, with three other people on it. The course is good value for money as it is tailored to the individual needs of each course. Good presentations with confirmation of understanding by hands on explanation using your own camera. Learning from each other, using the different photographic abilities within the group. Good quality handouts. Graeme has a good sense of humour and is patient with the group.
