Our little pooch has just finished the puppy course and we can’t believe the difference Laura’s teaching has made. He was so scared and nervous of other dogs when he started, we were worried how he was going to cope. Over the past six weeks he has grown into a confident little man who no longer screeches with anxiety when he sees another dog. The tips and techniques that Laura has taught us have been invaluable and are easy to incorporate into every day life. I would not hesitate to recommend the course to anyone who had a new puppy. Highly recommend Laura, she has really helped us with our springer Holly. The games we played in class really translate when out on a walk, she now stays close and listens. The older generation in the family were sceptical of Laura's methods at first but were definitely won over when they saw the improvement. Holly has gone from out of control, anxious and unmanageable to a dog we can walk off the lead, recall and most importantly is a happier more confident dog. More...

Today we took our pup to the park and played fetch off the lead, confident that our dog wasn’t going to disappear into the distance or if she got distracted by other dogs, people or birds then we had the skills to control the situation.

I’ve never done puppy classes before but we took our new puppy Mia and even my husband came and we all absolutely loved it don’t know who enjoyed it more us or Mia, and we even came first in the best trick so thrilled about that.
I would highly recommend Laura as a dog trainer she makes it all great fun to be there.

I have a labradoodle called Billy who is two & half, but only had him for six months. With the job that we do, we wanted a more mature dog that didn’t need puppy training.
Billy fitted in just great, but did not understand how to play, interact & would only respond to my wife. After getting spooked once to often & once getting on to a road, I had to take steps as it was going to end badly.
We met Laura on a dog walk & decided to book some 1 2 1 training, we are only half way through but the difference is just mind blowing. I already trust Billy not to have a lead on until the last moment & he is no longer looking for the shortest route Home back to my wife. What he will be like at the end of the training I can only imagine.

3 sessions of 1-1 training and dog waks with Laura = a much more obedient and relaxed 1yr old dog. Monty has high energy levels and can be over stimulated by new environments but is now so much better at refocusing his attention. Thanks Laura @ Good Dog. Xxx

Frank is 3 now and although we did plenty of puppy training he has always been a pain when on the lead. His recall and general training is very good so the loose lead workshop was just what we needed. I say we because as is usually the case it’s the human end that needs the lessons more. Well we did the 2 sessions, added plenty of practice between and what a difference, we are not all the way yet but a significant improvement. Plus we had a lot of fun at the same time. So we highly recommend Laura it was simple, fun but so effective. Definitely be back if more workshops pop up. 5 stars and a big wag from Frank. More...

Thank you for a lovely morning and our first training session. Great to learn some new games and get some great advice on training techniques. Bonus to be in such a lovely setting too. Dottie really enjoyed it and it is the first time I've really seen her so engaged and all through positive reward, which I loved. Laura has been helping us train our 2 Jack Russells throughout this year with their anxiety which was resulting in pulling, barking and much stress on walks. Laura has given us tools to use to help reduce their anxiety and the best ways for us to stay calm whilst training them. They are much better than they were, but Laura has helped us understand their anxiety which means we don't get so stressed with them, resulting in much more enjoyable walks all round! We still use her from time to time for a bit of extra training or just a walk with her. Laura has such a calm approach to dogs that they all love their time with her. I highly recommend her. More...
