Just wanted to say a huuuge thank you to everyone at Goldborough House for looking after our Cookie, Frankie, Pepe and Lulu so well while we were away. Since we rescued them all from horrible situations a few years ago, we'd never been separated from them and we were pretty anxious they'd be ok but really, we needn't have worried. My dogs have just returned from a stay here, and despite them being glad to be home, and glad to be back on a comfy sofa.. . They are happy, well fed and obviously well loved in my absence. Believe me, I would never just leave my two in any kennels, and after visiting a few, had my heart set on Goldborough House kennels. It was clean, calm and all the staff were approachable and friendly. All things that I rate highly in anywhere!Having worked in kennels, I know they can be noisy places and they tend to have smells, but not Goldborough. I was impressed at how there was no smell at all and everywhere seemed clean, hygienic and comfortable. I'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend these kennels to anyone. More...

My dogs are so very special to me and I worried everyday about them, that they were sad, not eating, not sleeping, difficult to handle. .. but I didn't need to worry in the slightest. Mac and Bo are both happy, tired out and glad to be home on a comfy sofa, but contented, full tummied dogs. From all reports, they were both well behaved and loved! So thank youuuu! My Cocker Spaniel Monty was here very recently at very short notice on my part, and although they were extremely busy they found space for him, and when unforseen circumstances meant i couldnt return when scheduled to, they were amazing i cant rate the staff and owners highly enough. And Monty loves the place.

After having a bad experience putting my dogs in kennels ,Goldborough house kennels has restored the faith of knowing my dogs were well cared for . My dogs were very happy when I collected them bathed ,bedding and toys all washed. Reggies first time staying at Goldborough this weekend. I was so worried leaving him as he’s only 5 months old! But he settled In really well and is his usual bubbly self! I think he was sad to leave you!! His blanket and bed was washed as he had a little accident! Reggie even had a bath himself :) Thank you so much for looking after him. Always happy leaving our 2x huskies with the guys at Goldborough. The dogs don't even look back when we drop them off, and they come back tired and happy (and usually bathed too! ). Like the fact exercise is via a free roam paddock rather than a brisk walk up and down a yard. Thanks guys. More...

We have been using Goldborough House since Tilly the cockapoo was 7mth old a few times a every year. We have done a few days to a two week stays and she always is so happy to be left and the same happy bouncy dog when we pick her up. We've been using Goldborough kennels for many years now and Buster always can't wait to get inside!! We've recommended the kennels to others and they've also provided glowing reports. Have never had to leave my dogs before , was apprehensive to use kennels . But after picking my boys up today , I would def book again . Happy , bouncy , fluffy ( even bathed !!) dogs . Kennels can be a bit nerve-racking when leaving your dog in one, but Geoff, Dawn and the team put your mind at ease. Although I knew our dog Betty could cope as she was a street dog from Greece and had spent time in kennels before and had been transferred via plane to the UK, it was still worrying, especially when she looked unhappy when I left her in the kennel! Nevertheless, when we picked her up she came out happy to see us, tail wagging and she definitely had been eating well. Furthermore she has been bathed etc proving how much she had been cared for. Once home, it was if she had never been away. The only problem I have had is she has turned up her nose to her usual food. Obviously Goldborough's is better! Thanks to all her looked after her, Betty will be back in October, although I will probably let you take her from reception this time just in case :-) More...

Just picked up my Husky puppy ( a year old ) from her first ever stay in Goldborough house Kennels and Cattery. Shiloh was very happy and was her usual beautiful self when we picked her up. I was pleased to hear that she had settled well and had enjoyed her stay. I was nervous about leaving her as it was our very first time to do so but after visiting the kennel and chatting to the very friendly and helpful staff I felt so much better. It's a lovely kennels with lots of space and was very clean. We will definitely be using Goldborough again and have in fact got her booked in on a few other dates throughout the year. Goldborough House Kennels were recommended to us for our first timer. So we were invited to look around by them and we were overly pleased with the cleanliness of the kennels and the staff were super friendly. Our pup is a very timid dog, so we cautiously booked her to stay but we were concerned there would be issues. Well, we have collected her today after her first stay and although she loves to be home she has clearly been looked after. She was absolutely spotless and appears to be as happy as always. Goldborough updated us via Facebook and all our messages were answered. We will definately use again, we just hope that Goldborough feel the same about our Iz (or should that be her silly hoomans) :D Thanks guys. More...

We have been bringing our dogs here for four years, and keep coming back even though we live 100 miles away. Everyone at the kennels is so friendly and welcoming and helpful, and we know the dogs will be well looked-after and happy. Excellent value.

We can't thank Geoff and Dawn at Goldborough Kennels and their team enough (particular thanks to Gemma and Hannah). They got us out of a difficult hole with regard to boarding our two dogs. We were due to fly to the US for a family holiday and our pet sitter/behaviourist had to cancel for personal reasons. Our rescue dog Eddie has fear issues and we were concerned he would not cope in a kennel environment. Goldborough showed true understanding and totally put our minds at rest.
