I treated myself for a nude session for my birthday, never done it before and I was very nervous but Patrick made me feel comfortable and confident.
I love the pictures and the quality is so good I asked Patrick to keep the pictures without any photoshop. I've got a very good deal from him as well. The make up artist was very friendly and listened to what I wanted from the make up and we spend the whole time chatting. The whole experience was amazing, Patrick took time to find out what I wanted from the session and the pictures made me feel more confident about my body. I have even decided to start a little tradition and do the session every year for my birthday

I decided to celebrate my 66th birthday with a boudoir photoshoot at The Goddess Studio. I am so pleased I did. It is a lovely, inclusive environment for women of all ages and sizes. I had my hair & make-up done to a very high standard and was made to feel fabulous. I took some items with me (discussed pre-shoot) and also wore some beautiful items from the studio wardrobe. What do you love most about your job?
I get to help women feel beautiful and (re)discover the goddess within.
It's a joyful process that starts with the first phone call. There's a lot of nerves and excitement during the planning.
When a woman sees her first image and recognises how amazing she is, it just makes my day every time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I quit my full-time position as a creative director to become a painter in 2018.
A couple of years ago, a friend asked me to take boudoir photos of her, she was struggling with body dysmorphia, and didn't have a single photo of herself in her house. It was an intense and emotional experience for her, so we took it slow, eight hours later and many cups of tea. I saw the relief or years of self-doubt and lack of self-confidence lift away from her, it was amazing, beautiful and I was blessed to be part of it. That was my first boudoir client.
I did this for a few more local women, it all went really well. I just couldn't think of any better way to make a living. So after 25 years of working as a creative director in women's wear and luxury advertising, I decided to bring these skills to help all women 18-80+ years celebrate themselves through boudoir photography.
I am still an artist too, mainly body-positive nudes and some crossover inspirations from the boudoir studio.
