Both my son and daughter come to the kick boxing classes on a Tuesday and Thursday, they both love it. My daughter is 7 and loves to make new friends, she really enjoys the different aspects of the classes. My son is 10 and has Autism. Maisie has been attending little ninjas for a few months now and absolutely loves it! The whole club atmosphere and ethos is wonderful. My little girl (7yrs) started GMSM a few weeks back and the transformation in her is amazing. She has grown in confidence and looking forward to her first grading this week. The instructors are very patient and take time to teach the kids but most importantly they make it fun! After each class, she is excited to come home and show us and practice. My son started as a little ninja when he 4 years old and is now in the juniors (9yrs). Instructor's are very patient with the children and are always looking at fun ways to teach the kids. My son started with little ninjas Livingston in December. He was very shy and lacked in confidence when participating although he wanted to do it. With perseverance from us, and the fantastic instructors who helped encourage him he now loves it and is doing great. I started at gmsma around 6 months ago now as I was basically looking to get my fitness back up and as I used to do a bit of martial arts 10 years ago I minded it was a great workout. Since going, with the instructors and everyone at the club making you feel welcome and part of the family as such my attitude to the classes as completely changed. I am now going because yes it is a great workout but the skills we are learning not only in the physical side but the everyday mental side such as just basic respect for your seniors in the group or manors that are lost in today's world is a great asset to help you succeed in life outside the classes. I’ve been training here for 7 years now, I would recommend it to both beginners and those experienced in tkd and kickboxing. They are suitable for all fitness levels and offer opportunities for those wishing to compete. The development system from the kids all the way up to the seniors is exceptional.
