My husband and I dined here on a Saturday night and we absolutely enjoyed our meal. It was our firwt time and not our last. Had the calamari and pizza on this first visit. Dessert was tiramisu and it was AMAZING. Chris, our server, was attentive, and provided great service. If you're into rushing your dinner plans, this isbnot the place for you. Four of us went on Friday, October 18 to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was in the height of the furniture market and they had many customers. The decor was beautiful with black and white table cloths, beautiful wine goblets and classy silver wear. Lowlights added to the ambience. Wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. The food and service was absolutely fantastic. We started with the mozzarella Giovanni and it was very rich and the perfect way to start the meal. Then my wife had the Veal Rollatini while I got the Zuppa de Pesce. Everything was very well seasoned and flavorful. Four of us were there on Oct. 18 to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was the beginning of the furniture market. They had the tables all decorated with black and white table cloths, beautiful decor, silver ware, and wine goblets. It was so beautiful. Wish they did this every night! Our food was suberb , the Martini's excellent and the desserts heavenly. I commend the staff. They could have easily catered only to the furniture market customers and ignored us but this was not the case. The service was excellent. Since we live in the Greensboro area, we will be back. Came here tonight as a teacher and mom of 4 for a romantic break with my husband. The atmosphere was calm, quiet and romantic, exactly what we needed. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive with being overwhelming. The chef came to our table when they ran out of swordfish and made a delicious alternate recommendation. Everything arrived hot and flavorful; the quality is obvious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone celebrating a special occasion, or like us, in need of a low-key retreat for 2. For starters, Joy, our waitress was awesome. From the advice and recommendations to her willingness to take care of us after waiting over 15 min for service. My fiancé and I started off with the fried zucchini (which clearly you just can't go wrong). She then followed with the lasagna - which is enough to feed two, & delicious! I on the other hand, went with the chicken involtini -- phenomenal. The chef stopped by & we chatted for a minute before she sent us out a piece of chocolate cake (as if we had any room left after dinner!).
