My name is Wendy and I run GibFit, a personal training service based in Manchester. I am a qualified gym instructor, personal trainer, kettlebell coach and older adult fitness specialist. My aim is to help my clients achieve their goals through health, fitness and nutrition, specialising in weight loss and body fat reduction.

The sessions are really well planned. I’ve lost weight, feel more energised and my fitness level has improved. I’ve had sessions before and after having a baby and the sessions have challenged me but always suited my ability level. I would definitely recommend.

Wendy’s been a superstar. Set me up with a 3 day killer work out to cycle through. It’s varied, fun, clear .... but OMG it’s challenging! Love it

This lady is brilliant. She has kick started me into exercising more frequently and I have lost weight, toned up and become stronger with her help. I have more energy and I have a better diet now. Fantastic small group classes that really work on every important muscle group. It's hard but not too hard and fun and you really feel it the day after so you know its working! The classes are just the right amount of time and they are super friendly. Really great and I cant recommend it highly enough! More...

Wendy is a star! Very professional but very friendly at the same time and very understanding of my limitations ( although because of her positivity and motivation I've realised I'm capable of much more than I thought I was! ! ) The workouts are always different and interesting and I really push me without making me feel I am going to die with the exertion! Wendy has worked on my stamina, toning and overall fitness. The excercises are different and interesting which keeps me focused. So far I have lost 5 1/2 inches only 7 lbs to go!!! And all this in 7 weeks. Wendy makes it fun and although hard work I do look forward to our sessions, we have started going out of the house and along canal paths, using outside benches, jogging as well as weight training. Definitely believe Wendy will make me hit my targets and keep me on track. Would definitely recommend her if you want results and fun training. More...

I try and keep sessions fun and varied and I make sure I incorporate the clients exercising preferences whilst mixing in new workouts. There are limitations to exercising at home so I take advantage of everything on offer nearby. If possible I take my clients outside to parks, canal paths or any open space, I love using outdoor gyms, park benches, steps, hills....anything which can challenge and push my clients that bit further.

I'm a very positive person and I celebrate the small steps each client makes, encouraging and boosting them to keep going and to reach for the milestones.

I believe that it's a change of life style which will ultimately clients achieve their dream body. If you're always on a diet you will always be cutting something out, limiting foods and then having cravings. If you check calorie intake and calories burnt then this is a great place to start and to begin seeing results. You are much more likely to succeed if you place no pressures on yourself.

I love fitness and exercise so I feel really lucky to be doing this everyday helping others achieve their goals. I meet lots of lovely people and I feel really pleased when clients lose weight, lose inches and become fitter, making people happier about themselves and their bodies.

I have helped many clients improve their running and when they realise that they can run and they can just keep going without getting tired and puffed out. It gives them a great sense of achivement. I also get to be outside a lot in the fresh air, in parks, green spaces or along the canals in Manchester.

Being my own boss enables me to provide a better service for my clients. I can be more flexible with the hours I work, having the time to spend making sure everyone is getting the personal service they deserve.

I am a person centred PT, by putting my clients first I offer a unique, professional service. I know what it's like to want to lose weight and not being happy with my body image and so I feel I can empathise with my clients and ultimately offer a competent service specific to their needs.

I have a fantsatic record of success with clients from weight loss, far loss, improving strength and running and know that I can help you too.
