My name is Wendy and I run GibFit, a personal training service based in Manchester. I am a qualified gym instructor, personal trainer, kettlebell coach and older adult fitness specialist. My aim is to help my clients achieve their goals through health, fitness and nutrition, specialising in weight loss and body fat reduction.
Sessions involve cardio, circuits, hiit, strength training, toning, yoga and flexibility.
I am a mobile Personal Trainer so am able to incorporate sessions around your schedule by working together in your home, garden, an open space or at your work place. This takes away the pressure of the gym environment and creates a more relaxed approach in your own surroundings. I provide all the equipment and work with individuals, couples and groups.
All sessions are tailor made to you, your requirements and your goals. Whether you want to shape up, lose weight, become stronger or run that race, I will work with you every step of the way.
I provide a free consultation with every new client which will enable me to get to know you better, find out your fitness aims, establish your current fitness level and incorporate this within a personalised, progressive plan to suit you.
I also offer nutritional and dietary guidance which will complement your fitness plan and help you achieve results quicker
My passion is running, I love cross country, trail running and regularly take part in parkrun on Saturdays. I also lead a community running group in my area for people of all abilities. The group helps people exercise together but also lose weight and get fit with the encouragement of others. I also love strength training, kettlebell circuits and taking my dog for long walk.

The sessions are really well planned. I’ve lost weight, feel more energised and my fitness level has improved. I’ve had sessions before and after having a baby and the sessions have challenged me but always suited my ability level. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic small group classes that really work on every important muscle group. It's hard but not too hard and fun and you really feel it the day after so you know its working! Wendy has worked on my stamina, toning and overall fitness. The excercises are different and interesting which keeps me focused. So far I have lost 5 1/2 inches only 7 lbs to go!!! And all this in 7 weeks. Wendy makes it fun and although hard work I do look forward to our sessions, we have started going out of the house and along canal paths, using outside benches, jogging as well as weight training.
