I had Giardino Neighborhood Cucina cater for my work Christmas part and it did not disappoint!!! The food was delicious. Every. Single. Item. The stuffed mushrooms and arancini appetizers were so so yummy. We had pistachio crusted salmon and braised beef gnocchi as our mains and they were also delightful. Everyone at my party complimented how great the food was. I will definitely be coming to this restaurant with friends and family! Karina, the restaurant owner was also great to work with. We hosted a baby shower here and it went amazingly. Staff was super professional, courteous, and flexible. The food is great and the ambiance is adorable. I really love this place!

Beautiful! Great food! Good service! Nice ambiance.  I could tell right away that it was going to be a good experience.  I checked in on yelp and  got the free (fresh baked) garlic bread.  Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and warm inside. For the main course I had the Spaghetti de Mare.  This dish is full of flavor and should probably be shared.  All of the seafood was cooked nicely.  I love a good red sauce and this did not disappoint.  I consider myself very lucky to have such a nice restaurant like Giardino in Lemon Grove.  Please more good restaurants in Lemon Grove!!!  I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like they have a great lunch special as well. :)~ More...

Everything is on point. I have never had bad service or food. Happy hour, (between 2 and 6) prices are amazing, 5 bucs. Lemon Grove got lucky when this place opened.

Came in for dinner on a rainy Saturday night.  Started with the Lobster Bisque which was great.  Shared the arugula and strawberry salad with my wife.  It was good.  Would love to see some candied walnuts on that salad.  Just something to add another texture but it was fine without it.  We also shared the fettuccini carbonara which my wife and I both thought was absolutely terrific.  Seriously, I wish we wouldn't have shared because I would have eaten the entire dish!!  Finished the meal with a creme brûlée.  It was perfect! Came here for the first time for a holiday dinner with a group of 6 and sat in their private wine room. What an Italian cutie in such an unsuspecting location in Lemon Grove! The menu was extensive and our group literally tried 80% of the menu over our leisurely 3 hour meal. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented and our server Carina, ( wife of the chef owner) was fabulous in every way. Warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and so efficient but yet unobtrusive. For starters we tried about 7 different appetizers  to share: crab cakes ( yum)!,stuffed mushrooms, meatball, arancini ( so good), salmon carpaccio, bruschetta. The truffle mushroom burrata flatbread was fabulous! We also shared Lobster  bisque ( a bit salty) and a pear salad. For mains our group had The pappardelle, the rich carbonara, oxtail cannelloni , lamb chops ( best ever), duck, and the butternut squash ravioli. We enjoyed several bottles of wine and a couple of their brand new holiday cocktails. Even though we were absolutely sated, we  just had to try their dessert sampler with tiramisu, cannolini, etc. wow, just wow. Delicioussssss!! I had the lobster gnocchi and my bf had the meat ravioli. We also were there for their 1/2 off wine bottle special and got a great bottle of wine 2 ice teas and a bruschetta appetizer. What a great spot! I've been a couple of times now and it never disappoints​. The decor is really cute and tastefully done and the service is always good. It really feels like your friendly​, neighborhood restaurant! The menu has tons of options without being overwhelming, but everything always looks so good I can never decide what to get! Here's what I've had so far:Pizza - this is amazing! So yummy! (and I'm picky about my pizza)Carbonara - usually my go-to anywhere and this one did not let me down. So rich! Meatball appetizers - I definitely recommend​ these! The sauce is so good!Truffle pasta - I'm a sucker for truffle and this dish packs it in!Spaghetti and meatballs - a classic. And they do it right!The Nutella tiramisu - holy shit. SO SO GOODLimoncello cake - also yummy!Another thing I love about Giardino is that you can bring your own bottles of wine for a corkage fee!
