DO NOT USE. We paid £150 for tuition and the the provider, contracted by Genie, went bust. We lost our money. Genie then took more money and changed our one-to-one tuition such that my daughter was being taught maths with another child being taught English at the same time! When I asked for a refund for money paid for for future lessons I was refused. More...

Mark is very patient with the children and extremely thorough in his teaching. He tries to make learning as fun as possible, and is very caring and understanding of each child's specific needs.

GENIE caters for the individual child, both of my children have been tutored by a genie tutor and they have come on leaps and bounds. Nathaniel is lots more focused on learning now, his spellings and handwriting have greatly improved, along with his attitude towards learning. Amelia I'd also doing brilliant, her writing and spellings have improved, her love for reading and writing stories is back, she's a lot more driven to do her best. The tutors are always ready to help and advise.
Nothing is too much trouble and feedback is always worthwhile.

A fantastic place for constructive learning. Each child is treated as an individual and their learning and support is coordinated accordingly. What can i say except a huge THANKYOU! My eldest son only went from Feb 2015-May 2015, when he sat his GCSE's. "A" grade achieved in his literature exams & "B" in his language, which would never of happened without the absolute dedication & motivation of Ben! Nothing was ever too much trouble, an individualised teaching plan tailored to my sons curriculum, exam board, texts & learning needs. Both my son and i wish we had discovered Ben & Genie earlier, hence my middle son in year 10 and youngest son, just starting year 3, have been going to Redditch Gennie Tutors since February too, my youngest for both English & Maths. I can't recommend Genie Tutors highly enough, within three weeks of one of my children attending the sessions, Ben unpicked that our son was missing a chunk of the year 1 curriculum (he was in year 2 at the time, falling behind and losing confidence). We then realised the damage had been done by moving schools part way through a year, with the two schools following the same curriculum but perhaps in a different order. Within a few more weeks we noticed Ed's confidence growing as did school. By the end of year 2 he had caught up with his peers and now school report how well he is doing on a regular basis. To see his self esteem improve has been lovely and is all credit to Ben. Three of our four children now attend Genie Tutors on a regular basis, two of whom have SEN. All of the children are finding things are 'clicking' more easily which is giving them more confidence. More...

What do you love most about your job?
We are passionate about teaching and we know that children are passionate about learning. We understand the pressures and difficulties children face in the classroom and the frustration for teachers faced with large classes. That is why we are part of Genie Tutors. We love putting the fun back into learning!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We felt that we could inspire the next generation better in small groups rather than teaching a whole class and so we decided to set up a franchise of Genie Tutors. It was the best decision - we can really focus on the needs of individual students.
