I had the pleasure of ordering 2 rings from GemPundit recently, and what I am not here to talk about the great quality and craftsmanship, that goes without saying. They have delivered exactly what was promised to the end, but what I found most touching is the reverent attention to every aspect. the box I received was wrapped in white fabric, sealed by hand stitch and red wax, and the address was hand written. I almost felt bad opening that preciously wrapped package. this was further packed into a metal box tightly sealed on the jewelry box, inside the I found my 2 lovely rings still covered in prayers, red powder and rice offering. I loved it !! During the order process I struggled to understand the delay which was caused by major public holiday, I did not know about it so I was frustrated, but the attention I had received from customer service and from management changed my frustration into happiness. if Gempundit will indulge me I have a couple suggestions I would like to take the liberty to write them here: * Note public holidays on the website in a prominent position for the rest of us who are outside the country and therefore unfamiliar, if you can add something regarding expected delay it will be great. * If possible include a letter of instructions inside the lovely box on how to wear the gem, most of us outside the country have no access to such guidance. Very very Bad business.

*Before I place the order on December 8th 2018 , called the
customer service to verify , cuz I need the ring by 27th of *December. So agent confirmed that in 3 - 5 business days it is
going to be dispatched. then I placed the order with normal
shipping.
*December 13th, received an email saying its delaying
due to an unforeseen one week of regular examination of CBDT in
their manufacturing unit .
*December 20th, Jewelry making completed.
*December 20th, asking me $ 15.39 more if I need it by Christmas
day.
*December 21st, asking my confirmation ( I don't understand this
step cuz it was not in website as a requirement )
* January 8, 2019 - again asked $ 15.39 if I need the ring before
Christmas ( Don't know which Christmas, 2018 Or 2019 )
*January 17, 2019 - If I don't confirm it is going to ship in 24 to 48
hours.
*February 01, 2019 - Ready for dispatch.
*February 04, 2019 - Shipped. ( January 17th to February 04th is
not 24 OR 48 hours )( still didn't explain why this 18 days delay)
*February 16, 2019 - Delivered thru US postal service. ( after 58
days)(paid $29.61 for shipping & Handling )
*February 24th I found one gem is missing.
*February 25th 2019 sent an email to GemPundit.
*March 5th 2019 asked me to go to a local jewelry shop to get fixed
it and provide the bill for them to reimburse
I refused it and told them that wrote you not to get any
compensation
*March 8, 2019 sent me a mail explaining the order history in a
chronological manner
*March 9 2019 another email requesting me to ship the ring to a
local person in USA, then they going to make a updated ring for
me
I kindly refused and bare the loss...
