We needed our conservatory wallpaper stripping back exposing the plaster underneath them repainted, I hired Glenn as he lives on the same estate as me and I needed a painter and saw him advertise his business a long time ago so wrote his number down for future reference. He popped around to visit me and we talked about the work that needed to be done, he came around when he said he would and completed the job in two days and I must say I am very impressed with his work. I hired glen to carry out gloss work in my living room only.
Skirting boards and 3 internal doors front to back. The work was carried out in a 2 day period as I wanted him to take his time so it was done properly. 7 ceilings in my property all white silk. Beautiful work finished by Glenn I had a painter in and made him leave after a few hours the work just wasn’t good enough. Lines everywhere. Exterior painting on our 2 bedroom house.
Window frames door frames. Everything was sanded back nicely all flakes taken off properly. Glenn used a lovely paint made by zinsser the product is a little more expensive but I was assured it would last longer than a previous decorator promised on a different cheaper product. I researched this brand and was very happy to take glenn on for the job. Arriving on time everyday he worked for us he didn’t disappoint the applying of the gloss was done to a very high standard and we are extremely pleased with the final finish. The job itself was completed a day less than previous quoted, so as honest people we paid the full quote as it deemed very fair for the work/effort put in. All in all we will be using Gd decorating services again they really did pull the rabbit out the hat for us. heya I found Glenn (Gd decorating services) on Yell.com so I contacted him to discuss what I needed doing which is as follows:-

Paint our 3 sheds (bk garden) with a weatherproof or long lasting oak wood stain.
Glenn suggested ducksback which we couldn’t be more happier with and has already had its first bad weather attack it and it’s not budged, I trust his words when he stated it will last the 5+ years. Usually we used the ronseal product which my husband had to repeat doing every year which wasn’t doable as we are elderly.

Decorate 4 walls in the lounge and gloss the lounge door in satin. He done this work to a very high standard and we are more than happy with his work ethic, reliable, friendly, always on time, and most importantly clean & tidy. BIG JOB WITH A NICE FINISH! - extension newly built needed a primer for the walls, and then 2 coats of lilac. The ceiling is a nice silk finish. Glenn achieved more than enough working for us we can’t be more happy with his work. He even done touch up/repairs in our bathroom as he was sick to death of seeing our damaged walls so at no extra cost he got it sorted for us and we are ever so grateful. Hello I’m tim I run my own building business. I use Glenn often as he lives on my estate and last month completed a difficult task of a complete rip out of a kitchen with myself then board skim then paint. . the whole time I’ve worked with this man he shows passion for his efforts and has a great finish on the decorating, he’s a very good plaster boarder also. I will be using his hands for future projects with immediate starts offered if his availability becomes normal as he works non stop. The job was a difficult one which consisted of stripping 20 year old wood chip paper off the hallway, living room and 2 bedrooms. Walls prepared holes filled sanded and made good.
This was done quickly and he turned up when he said he was going to which is a bonus as 60% of traders never stick to the original plan. Glenn done a good job for us and would’ve got him to paint it all for us having my husband wanting to do it himself, Glenn done the hard work for us ready to paint! We needed this job sorting out with immediate affect and Glenn was local we found him on bark and he came to visit us. The quote was realistic and we were very happy with it as he described what he would be doing regarding the job in hand. 3 days later we are very very happy with the work he produced for us and will be calling him back after our garden party on April 11th to carry out the front of the garden which is a similar size. I hired a painter who clearly wasn’t as qualified or experienced as he first told us, we wanted 4 ceilings mist coated then white silk for a lovely shiney finish but couldn’t manage it.
