If you’re looking for a photographer for ANY occasion, the search STOPS HERE! I can’t say enough about Gavyn and her amazing work! From rocking our family session with 9 adults, 4 dogs and 2 infants to capturing the most beautiful engagement photos, she can do anything & everything! Gavyn’s laid back yet spunky personality makes her sessions incredibly enjoyable! My fiancé & I still talk about how much fun we had during our engagement session, which says a lot given the fact that, like most men, he’s not a huge fan of photos. In addition to Gavyn’s special art for photography she has been super responsive during the entire wedding planning process and especially helpful with coordinating our day of timeline, which is an added bonus... and another reason why you should just book Gavyn for all your photography needs. When Gavyn shot my brother’s wedding, I knew right away I wanted her to shoot mine too. I noticed our styles were similar and soon found out we were on the same page with what we wanted out of our engagement as well as wedding shoots. She's proactive and had a process put together for what to expect. It really took the stress out of planning the photography part of our wedding. On our wedding day she had already scouted locations around our venue for outdoor shots and brought umbrellas for the rain, too. Where do I even start? Besides the fact that Gavyn and her photography partner, Domenic, are both lifesavers. We ended up ~firing~ our originally booked wedding photographers exactly 2 weeks before our wedding. I had followed Gavyn’s work for months and reached out, hoping she’d be available and she was. Not only was she EXTREMELY helpful in arranging our day given the winter time constraints, but our sneak peeks have been nothing short of incredible. We discovered through our wedding planning process that the demeanor and attitude of your photographers is vital to the success of your wedding day, hence why we parted ways with our original choice. I would give six stars if I could! Gavyn has been a friend for a while and when I started seeing her post her photographs I knew I wanted her to take pictures of my daughter and I. GTB Imagery did a phenomenal job as the photographer for our June 2017 wedding. When I first saw Gavyn's photos, I loved her style - her photos are effortless and I love her ability to capture candid moments.
I've gotten so many compliments on my wedding photos since sharing them with friends and family. It's amazing how Gavyn captured the excitement of the day - she got all of the standard wedding shots I wanted but she also got so much more. My favorite photos are the ones where we're getting ready, dancing, laughing, and just enjoying the day. I'm going to have a never-ending supply of insta-ready shots for years to come.
Gavyn is also such a pleasure to work with. She's quick to respond, super organized, and has a great personality. We loved having her there for our big day and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

Look no further, hire Gavyn! She has a calming presence and makes any photo occasion more fun. Her photos look natural because people are truly happy-- they forget they are in front of the camera when she is there. Gavyn has taken photos of my huge family and more recently she took photos of our new pup, Murph! My family, even the more reserved (crabby) members were in high spirits after photos started. It is clear that Gavyn loves her job and enjoys every moment of the event. Afterwards, I heard lots of comments about how it was "actually really fun" and my family truly adores the photos. I am so happy we hired Gavyn to do our newborn photos. We had to reschedule several times, and she was totally understanding and flexible. She traveled from Chicago to our home in the suburbs, which made it much easier for us with our new baby. She started shooting the minute she arrived which was great since babies can be so unpredictable. She was able to catch candid moments as well as a few posed photos. Everything felt very natural, no oddly forced poses. We received our finished photos very quickly. When we saw them we were blown away at how much she was able to capture in such a short amount of time. The photos are simple, bright, and beautiful. No "fluff" that takes the focus away from our baby. Gavyn was able to capture so much raw emotion in our photos and we couldn't be happier with them.
