Our golden lab, George, was 5 years old when the whole family for the first time had a holiday abroad planned. As this was a first for us, we were very anxious that George needed a really good home for the week.
He'd only ever spent a night away from us and had been cared for by other family members who he knew really well.
A friend introduced me to Andy and the service and level of care was just brilliant from start to finish.
Before agreeing to looking after George, we met and walked George and Andy's own dog, Alfie. The two got along really well and Andy spent almost two hours getting to know George and very thoroughly checking all paperwork.
On the day when George was left in Andy's care, Andy did everything he could to ensure George was at ease by the time I left... we had a walk first with both dogs and George relaxed into Andy's home.
Regular pics on FB reassured us that George was having the time of his life - including a run on a beach - with Andy, Alfie and the children.
Although George was very excited as we arrived on masse to collect him a week later, back at home later that night he had a few minutes of whimpering while lay next to me... I'm convinced it was his way of saying he was missing Alfie and everyone at Andy's!
We all have absolutely no reservations about George staying with Andy again as soon as is needed - I can unreservedly recommend Andy to anyone who needs their dog to be really well cared for on all levels & we know just how important this is for you to enjoy your time apart with complete peace of mind.

We moved to Haslingden not knowing a soul and needed doggy do care. Found Andy on FB, contacted him and came up to the house. From the start the service has been excellent. Our dog is well looked after and loves going off for his walks with Andy. He will do his absolute best to accommodate your needs. Let me put it this way, won't be using anyone else. More...

Fantastic.Furry friends have worked magic with my reactive rescue dog.My dog barked at every single dog he saw when out on walks, but now is able to walk alongside other dogs easily. Will be booking them for the boarding services too. Thanks More...
