We offer 1-1 personal training sessions, group sessions, strength and conditioning sessions for sports teams, bootcamps and sports massage therapy.

We have a private training studio along Harrington Lane in Pinhoe, Exeter but are also available for home visits.

When we started the 8 week programme we weren't used to 'working out' on a weekly basis.

But Helen and Chris have been fantastic instructors, making the sessions enjoyable and challenging.

We were in a small group of ladies which made it more personal.

We feel stronger and fitter for doing the programme, and would recommend it to anyone.

I have been doing strength training, with Helen & Chris, two times a week for 8 weeks now.
Seeing great improvements from when I first started. Really enjoying going and the session fly by and don't drag like other classes I have done.
They have given me loads of help and guidance which has been grate as I was a beginner to strength training.

I am nearly at the end of the women's athletic strength training course and can honestly say I've enjoyed every session. Helen is great, really knowledgable and motivational and is a brill trainer.

I am definitely stronger than I have ever been thanks to the programme and have taken lots of different methods away with me that I can use in the gym on my own.

I would highly recommend Helen and this programme to anyone looking to get healthier, fitter and stronger.

Just finished the 8 week women's strength training session with Helen and Chris. Brilliant! Feel fitter, stronger and healthier and the results didn't disappoint.
Would highly recommend this course as an alternative to the gym. Different way of training. Toning without bulking. Motivated by the others in the class. Sessions adapted to all levels and to suit each individual. Great atmosphere. Professional whilst making it fun. Pushes you to be your best.... loved it.

I cannot recommend Frontier Performance and, in particular, Helen highly enough.

Having taken part in a strength training course over a period of eight weeks, I completed the course this evening and am thrilled with the results, which showed improvements across the board. I feel fitter, stronger and healthier since starting the course - but it was still nice and satisfying to see the results in black and white!

Helen is a fantastic Coach, she is knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging - she pushes you (in the nicest possible way!) to really do your best and believes you can do it, even when you don't! Helen has a great sense of humour and makes the sessions fun and enjoyable - I feel like I have made a friend too!

I’d highly recommend Frontier Performance - since starting with them, not only has my Netball game improved massively but I can also see the difference in strength and toning and I’m also avoiding injuries and niggles I previously would’ve been overcome with!

Frontier Performance prides itself on delivering the highest quality coaching and training. Following a thorough initial consultation and assessment, our sessions aim to empower and educate, giving you the tools to make long term positive changes in your life. We’ll teach you correct form and give you programming that is scientifically sound, fun and highly effective. We also offer 1-1 style training in a group of 2 or 3.

Whether in a team or individual, our strength and conditioning sessions will use structured training specifically to improve performance in your given sport. We will help make you robust so you avoid injury, work on improving movement mechanics and give guidance on nutrition. The sessions are about more than just lifting weights – it encompasses the complete development of the athlete and what is needed to improve physical sporting performance. This includes plyometrics, speed and agility, endurance and core stability and strength training. What do the sessions include: Athlete profiling: training history, wellness questionnaire, detailed movement screening. Performance testing: Strength, acceleration, speed and agility. Maximum aerobic speed, power testing, Reactive Strength Index,

Our Men’s and Women’s Athletic Strength groups are perfect for people who have had an extended lay off from the gym or are new to resistance training, The structured 8 week gives you the following: - An 8-week bespoke training program with a highly qualified coach - Pre and post-program testing so we can tailor the sessions specifically to you: combating weaknesses and addressing individual goals - The fastest way to build muscle and strength as well as burn any unwanted fat - Learn the key lifts and how to perform them with correct technique so that you can build strength and avoid injury - Build a solid foundation of strength and technique so that we can progress you onto the next advanced course - Individual coaching but in a group of like-minded people that have similar goals and aspirations to you - You’ll build strong bonds with the other people on the course that will motivate you and help you get the most out of the experience - 2 sessions a week - A maximum of 6 people per session

Our group training sessions offer you the high-quality coaching of personal training but in a motivational group setting with like-minded individuals. We run a number of different group programs ranging from our highly popular Womens and Mens Athletics strength groups to our advanced athletic strength groups. The programs allow you to follow our structured training, with a high degree of individualisation, accelerating you towards your goals in a fun friendly supportive setting, under the watchful eye of one of our coaches.
