If I'm performing live and I know Louise is there taking photos, I am always excited to see the results
The pictures almost seem to breathe they're that alive - a rare gift!

Nice lighting and composition, especially in the landscapes. I love the moody sky one of earls barton village with the wispy clouds and the yellow field with fluffy white clouds on blue sky...

I've had the benefit of Louise's talents snapping away during gigs and I have always been impressed with the way that she is able to capture the mood of each gig in her images. She is discrete and able to find the shots that best represent what the music is all about. Nick M, Guitarist, Musical Roots.

For me photography is about that magical moment lost in the blink of a eye
Louise Frohock is in my humble opinion is the guardian and archivist of all those lost moments.

Fantastic photographer, i have seen some particularly breath taking pictures. My favourites would have to be the landscape photography, Louises ability to capture the essence of nature is wonderful.

Louise is an absolutely amazing photographer. Her portrait work extends beyond the physicality and really captures the character of the subject. Her landscape work focuses on the beautiful aspects of nature we see every day yet fail to appreciate.
She brings insight and passion and personality to all that she photographs or with clients and professionals with whom she does business with. I am looking forward to more opportunities to work with Louise professionally in the future.

Louise is a great photographer, her live gig photos really capture the moment, from an artists/managers point of view they are always very useful for promo. I get photographed a lot at gigs but I always look forward to seeing her shots especially.
If you need a gig captured she's the one.

Frohock Photography Q&A

Frohock Photography Q&A

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

The secret to taking a great photo is to be patience with your subject, whether it is a adult, child, family, bride, animal or even a landscape. The best portraits are taken when the subject is at ease and relaxed with you. I am constantly watching and waiting for that perfect moment to press the shutter and capture that laughter or cheeky smile. When shooting on location lighting and weather can play a major role in the photograph. It takes patience, timing and creativity to capture sometimes fleeting moments of perfect lighting.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

For portrait, family and wedding photography I like to find out more about the individuals I am photographing, their personality, things they enjoy doing, where they like spending their time. For wedding photography I also like to find out as much as I can about the venue and make time to visit it before the big day to get a feel for the venue and check out possible positions for taking photos throughout the day.

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting an array of wonderful people and capturing the special moments in their lives.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I wanted to manage my own time and use my creativity in a positive way to give something back to the world. Photography has this almost magical quality that can capture a moment in time that is precious to us and hold onto to it, so it can be relived again and again each time that image is viewed.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am a hardworking, passionate photographer and I love working with a huge array of different clients to offer them a unique, personalised service to suit their needs. I take the time to meet and talk to my clients, so I can get to know them and provided them with an outstanding service. I used to work in education so I am DBS certified and extremely patience.
