We have been using Friends for Pets for six years for our dog Oscar. The service is excellent, reliable and very flexible and you can go to work and on holiday knowing your dog is safe and having a good time Oscar loves his time with Friends for Pets and he is made to feel part of the family wherever he stays. They are happy to accommodate any requests although taking Oscar for a swim in the river in May goes well beyond the call of duty...but he loved it!! We would thoroughly recommend Friends for Pets. Following a family bereavement and a funeral in Nottinghamshire, we needed to find somewhere to leave our 8 month old puppy overnight. I discovered Friends for Pets and Alison stepped up to the mark with short notice and found us a place for our dog to stay within our own village. Everything was carried out so smoothly and professionally and I know our little one had an absolute ball - so much so she was happy to cuddle and sleep for the rest of the day and evening after we had collected her! Friends for Pets have walked my dog Jasper on and off since he was a puppy. They are always very helpful and willing to fit us in on very short notice. From the moment Kenny met his walker Helen he was smitten. The process for matching us up with Helen was so easy and Lucy took care of everything. She understood how anxious we were about handing him over to someone else and she gave us lots of reassurance about who he'd been matched with. Friends for Pets were professional from the start they answered my queries quickly and arranged for Louise to visit me and my two pet dogs to discuss my requirements.
Louise did a great job of looking after my two dogs whilst I was away for a long weekend. She sent me regular text and pictures that put my mind at ease.

Gobi loves his days at Westwood with Jefer and her dogs - he rushes off down the garden without a backward glance and when I pick him up at the end of the day he is a very tired, very happy dog. We've been using Friends for Pets in Bristol now for about a year and just can't fault the service we get. Leonora, who lives very close by, has become our Bassett's best friend - she can hardly contain her excitement when she's around.
If Leonora's busy, Jim's always been available to step in and our Sancha loves staying with him just as much! As we don't have a car, Jim's always available to collect and drop off after a stay, which is hugely helpful to us. They both stepped in recently, very last minute, when our first baby came along (middle of the night!). Although both were pre-warned we might need them, the way in which they swooped in to look after Sancha for a few days was brilliant and meant my husband and I could concentrate on the all important job of becoming new parents!
Really pleased we found these guys and hope to continue the friendship for some time to come!

I have been using Friends for Pets for many years now, and they are one of the few companies we entrust the care of our beloved dog Charlie with.
They have been excellent at finding us dog minders for daytime, overnight, weekend and longer stays and it feels like our dog goes on holiday when we do.

We have had the most FANTASTIC experience with Melinda, Monty's dog walker. She's been reliable, extremely flexible around our chaotic timetable and a fantastic friend to Monty. It has taken such a weight off our mind knowing he has been so well looked after. We've had lovely photos and messages from their walks, and on the odd occasion she's been away, Friends for Pets have found Monty another friend to take him out. Our dog Scout, who is a rescue and has been with us for 7 months, had his first experience staying in a new home with Friends for Pets. He couldn't have been happier. After the initial consult we showed up for his first full day and he was standing at the door, tail wagging, and couldn't wait to go inside to see his doggy friends. At the end of the day he was calm and fast asleep, a relaxed and happy dog. Alison is a calm, confident and trustworthy carer with real 'dog whisperer' tendencies.
