I had an amazing 10 week programme put together by Grace. She listened to my goals and made a plan based on these and my lifestyle. As someone that was very unfit, she was incredibly patient and always brought the motivation early on a Saturday, when I didn’t have any! Would highly recommend her PT sessions. More...

Incredibly impressed and appreciative of Grace for really listening to my goals to create a tough and limit-pushing ten week programme that has literally kicked my butt into shape!

I started PT with Darren about 7 months ago and have been going around 2 times a week, I’m really pleased I did! It was a great decision and I’m really enjoying FitFunActive! I’ve tried other PTs in the past, but Darren’s approach really works well for me. He is extremely knowledgeable, positive, encouraging & experienced and plans the sessions really well. I’ve found my weekly training programme has been tailored to what I need and to help me achieve my short & long term goals. No single training session has been the same, and it's always been fun and I've been thoroughly motivated. This has led me to learning a lot over the last few months & most importantly keeps the sessions interesting. The studio is also really well equipped with lots of good equipment. For me, a key takeaway from the sessions is developing good habits as well as learning safe and effective exercise habits, which I can apply into my lifelong exercises. This is something Darren is really good at addressing. The regular ‘check ins’ as well as Darren’s approach around coaching when it comes to both exercise, diet and fasting have positively influenced my lifestyle in a long term way. There are various options including 1:1 PT or group training opportunities as well as various online and in person group classes. I’ve been working with Ali at Fit Fun for nearly two years now. I was introduced via my sister who has been training with Darren since 2016. Ali is a brilliant trainer - he listens, observes, encourages and pushes you when he knows you’re ready to go that bit further. Last year, having never strength trained in my life (and increasingly picking up injuries when trying to train for running events that meant I was actually running less and less ) he helped me prep for a 25km race - the furthest I’d run in a few years - and I was super happy to finish injury free and feeling great. Unfortunately late last year I developed a frozen shoulder that has caused me ongoing issues but Ali has been amazing at accommodating my current limitations and planning sessions to ensure I keep my general and conditioning strength up while rehabilitating. My partner, an ultra runner, also started seeing Ali this year and the focused strength sessions really helped him to complete the gruelling Ben Nevis ultra which 50% of the field didn’t finish. Personal Trainers

David is an excellent Personal Trainer and I would definitely recommend him to help you achieve any of your fitness goals.
I have been training with David for 4 months and have seen a great improvement in my overall fitness and change in my body shape that I hadn’t been able to achieve with other PT’s.
David is very friendly and encouraging and his sessions are challenging and fun at the same time.
As I have said at the start of this post, I can’t recommend him enough.

I’ve been doing the Tuesday evening Fit Fun boxing sessions with Jen and loving it! Such a great group of women. They really welcomed me in even though my fitness level was quite low when I started I felt totally ok about it. I always go away feeling like I’ve really worked out and Jen is always conscious of any injuries etc and adapting things if needed. Couldn’t recommend this class enough! ???????????????? More...

I’ve been doing the Fit Fun Streatham Bootcamp now for a couple of months and it’s the best one I’ve ever done, I absolutely LOVE it. It’s such a happy positive friendly group of people, all ages and levels of fitness so everyone can go at their own pace. It’s a 90 min session so great value for money and a really thorough warm up, warm down and workout. Each week is different so you never get bored and walk away feeling refreshed, energised and healthy. I’ve lost 2kg already and it’s encouraged me to stay fit and active - come and join us ???????? I completed the running course with Fitfun this summer. I really enjoyed it and would reccomend to anyone thinking of doing something similar. I recently came across fitfunkettlebells through a fitness app and thought I’d give it a go. I didn’t know what to expect and was pretty much a newby in kettle bells. I was greeted by Altesse who was super friendly and encouraging. What followed was an intense hour long workout, where I felt like we worked on every single muscle in my body. Altesse made sure the moves I was doing were done safely and pushed me just the right amount. I left feeling I’ve done enough exercise for a week! The studio itself is very spacious with energetic music throughout the workout. If you’re looking for a fun, intense class - I would definitely recommend fitfunkettlebells with Altesse! We have trained as a couple with David Wilson for over 18 months now. Every session is fun and different and we never know what to expect which is great as we hate routine! Our fitness levels are so much better than prior to training and he keeps us motivated. If we didn’t have the sessions booked in we would not exercise for sure. Once we out in the park we love it! He is brilliant on flexibility Re timings as our diaries are very complicated and he adapts workouts accordingly. We also have a good laugh which is important too - we always leave with a smile.... and sometimes a bit of ‘sweet pain’... which we love too. Highly recommend. More...

I have been training with Ali for a while now and I honestly believe it to be one of, if not the, best investments I have ever made. Not only have I achieved better fitness and weight loss, I have also gained a wealth of knowledge when it comes to clean eating, workouts, confidence weight training and using equipment (especially when I am training without Ali) and just generally living a balanced life. Every session is completely different and fun, whilst pushing me further each time. I always come away having learnt something new and feeling motivated and inspired. Ali is very professional but approachable and I know that I can always go to him for advice or a motivational boost; whether that be during our sessions or over the phone. My lifestyle has completely changed and I have never been happier and I look forward to all the future targets and victories we achieve together. More...

The personal training here is of a very high stand. I drive 45 minutes to use the trainer here rather than at the gym down the road as quality of training is superior. Having a muscle condition means I cannot train in the same way as many people, however here specific techniques have been developed for me so I am fitter and reaching my weight goals. I worked for roughly two months with Darren on getting my fitness levels up to get ready for Tough Mudder and also to shed some weight. His deep knowledge and appreciation of physiology and nutrition was apparent from day one. He is not only a personal trainer, but also a consultant. Extremely professional, considerate, supportive and flexible to meet your needs. Darren ensures a granular understanding of each individual to tailor a program to work with their body and meet their goals. The best part, and which in my experience is different to any other PT I have had, is that he does the exercises with you. I had great results and never felt better. Not only am I at my lowest weight since my late 20's, I also did Tough Mudder and I also ran my first 10k in 51 minutes. Planning my second one for Dec. Never thought it possible. More...

I have enjoyed training with Darren for a couple of years and can honestly say he is a very excellent trainer. Each session is a different and interesting and always creative in the use space and objects. i have tried trainers in the past but never managed to find someone who is able to gauge where my level was and how to push me. I had done an ironman before meeting Darren but have never been as fit as i am now. I finish each session being glad for it. More...

I am a disability swimmer. I started working with Altesse from fitfunactive in May this year. Shortly after I started to see much better results in the pool.
He has been very accommodating to my disability and has managed to make me a more powerful swimmer through working on strengths and weaknesses in the gym. At my latest competition I improved several of my best times and I put much of this down to work I have done with Altesse in the last few months.
Therefore I would highly recommend Altesse and fitfunactive, if you're either going into fitness to improve yourself as an athlete or it's for another reason.

I've been coming to FitFunActive for almost 3 years now and have loved every minute of it. I have been doing boxing on a Monday evening, Kettles on a Tuesday evening and Bootcamp on a Saturday morning and recently decided to take up some personal training sessions with Altesse - who I would highly recommend. I am already so pleased with the progress I have made, and have learnt that sometimes it is just the little things you need to tweak to make a massive difference ( including not eating so much chocolate hehe! ) Altesse has helped tailor my personal training programme in line with my specific goals and has helped me learn how to exercise safely and what to avoid for my lower back injury - which throughout my whole time doing PT I has got so much better. I love my personal training sessions and look forward to them every week and it is definitely worth the money spent. Since starting my training I have seen a massive differences in my body. Altesse also gives amazing support on the nutritional side of things helping me learn so much about my body type and what is good for me - and of course Alitesse is always there for my questions whenever I have any! I've been to a few Boxercise sessions now and they're really enjoyable. You definitely feel like you're working hard but the time flies and it's good fun. I came across FitFun a couple years ago from their bootcamp sessions and their name really is what they are, enjoyable workout sessions which are different every week! Having gone to bootcamp and meeting Altesse, he encouraged me to try his kettlebell sessions and I love it! Not going to lie it's hard work but it is such a good workout, you might struggle while you're there and swear at him in your head (I don't really do that lol) but it's worth it! Altesse is a great trainer, he's motivating and encouraging and even though I've never had PT sessions with him, he has still given me helpful advice for my fitness and weight loss. I stopped working out for a while but he kept checking in on me, encouraging me to start back again, not many people would do that once you've stopped going to something especially not over two years but he did and that's just one of the many reasons I'd recommend FitFun to anyone, they really are nice guys who do their job well! When a local mum was raving about FitFun boot camp, I thought I'd better come along and see what the fuss was about! I started shortly after the birth of my first child and my energy levels were low so I was quite nervous about what torture awaited. I need not have worried. The boot camp has a warm and supportive atmosphere and even though the sessions are tough, I found myself really energised and enjoyed each session a lot. Darren & Altesse are attentive, supportive and encouraging and every level of fitness is catered for. Every session is different, involving kettle bells, resistance bands, core training, running and loads of creative team building. I only went once a week but could see a noticeable improvement in my fitness levels and felt really motivated afterwards. These classes are fun and excellent value for money! I'm hoping to start again in January as I miss this positive start to the weekend! More...

David has been my personal trainer for approximately 4/5 months. My initial aims was to lose weight and become healthier. However over the weeks my knowledge on food, nutrition and maintaining a healthy life has increased significantly . I am more consciously aware of what I am eating , how it impacts on my body and what the foods consist of. 
On top of all that the my personal  training sessions has been hard,  I cannot deny that but that's solely because I was not used to training. I have found a new enjoyment in exercising. I have become stronger, my body more toned and a new level of stamina. David encourages, pushes and assists me in achieving my pre set goals.  
If you have never experienced a personal trainer.....give it a go it is an experience you will never lose out on and you will have the knowledge for a life time.

Loved working out with Darren. First met him during a 10 week boxing course in Sydenham and he managed to coordinate an excellent workout for 12 women of various abilities always with a smile, an encouragement and lots of expert advice. After that I went on to do some personal training with another girl which made it slightly cheaper but no less effective. We were put to work in lots of unique and interesting ways, no session was ever the same and we always used the surroundings we were in to full potential including children's playgrounds. This was during winter so it was cold and dark but Darren always managed to make us laugh and always came away feeling like I had done the best I could have done. I did a few sessions on the Streatham bootcamp too which were really good and again catered for different levels but unfortunately they clashed with my daughter's swimming lessons so I had to skip them. I can highly vouch for Darren and will definitely use him again when I need to get back in shape next. Darren kick-started me back on to the road for healthiness and fitness after 1st baby and I'm confident he can do it again next time! Things I really liked about Darren: great energy and personality, always punctual, very organised (brings all the kit you need, has the whole session planned out, and a plan to get you where you want to be), covers nutrition, best ways to lose weight, how to stay fit, generally very flexible about timings and location. I started with Boot Camp, added Boxing then Personal Training with Altesse so I have embraced all aspects of FitFun! The classes are well prepared and organised so whatever your level of fitness, you can take part, enjoy the benefit of exercise and have a laugh with everyone too. I especially enjoy my Personal Training sessions with Altesse. I have lost weight, become more toned and improved my fitness level. He is always positive, encouraging and supportive with excellent dietary advice (and realistic suggestions to get back on track after a bit of indulgence!)
