How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
So important! We need to treat out bodies as our most valuable asset and fuel ourselves with good food. It's not always easy to make the right choices but it's a worthwhile investment.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Well, I am not a fitness expert...I leave that to the personal Trainers. However, I know that one of the hardest things when trying to reach our optimal weight and fitness is to keep up the motivation. I support people using FIT to choose the best route for them to lose weight, get fit, lead a healthier lifestyle for the long term, avoiding that yo yo dieting. It's very much a partnership.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
To be imperfectly perfect, to set yourself realistic goals that are about health and well being, not necessarily about being a size 8, or looking like we did at 20!
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing how FIT as a tool has made a huge difference for clients, not just on the scales, or their ability to run a marathon, but for many, the process has brought back control in other areas of their lives and helped people to grow in confidence.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It feels so fantastic to make a difference. It may be a cliche, but it's so true.
