What inspired you to start your own business?
First Steps supplies quality staff for children’s centres, schools, the family home, community organisations, and others.
Our staff work in services run by children’s centres and others, for children aged under 5 and their families, and for families in their home. Our aim is that these staff add value to the vital work undertaken by children’s centres and other organisations through our childcare services, and provide quality care in the home environment through our nanny services.
We strive to provide a quality, competitive service which meets the needs of centres and others and work within the Early Years Stage Foundation.
We seek to adhere to and encourage equality of opportunity and diversity in our work and how we operate.
We also provide programme management, and consultancy, learning and other associated services.

We put you and your family’s needs at the centre of all that we do. Before we match you up with your nanny, we love to take the time to come and meet with you and your family in your own home. This helps us to really understand your individual needs and requirements.
As parents, you are fully involved in the interview process and it is ultimately your decision which nanny you choose. By working closely together we can provide a truly bespoke and personal service to successfully match you with your perfect nanny.
Nanny Service
We are a unique nanny service. Not only do we match you up with your perfect nanny from our bank of highly skilled and experienced childcare professionals, but unlike most other nanny agencies, at First Steps Enterprise we EMPLOY all of our nannies.
This means that for a simple monthly fee, we take care of all administration such as paying your nanny, tax and national insurance payments and holiday pay.
All of our nannies are fully DBS checked and have the qualifications, experience and references that our high standards require.
We can also arrange for nannies to be registered with Ofsted (this has to be done at an individual level) if you would like us to arrange this.
Children's Staffing Services
