About

Life is more fun when you pluck, pick or strum! My lessons are friendly and fun and are tailor made to your needs.

I run the Finale Guitar shop in Sheffield, have been teaching guitar for the last 3 years, and playing since I was 8. Through the shop I teach all styles and genres and also work with a small team of local instrument teachers to offer guitar, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, music theory and song-writing lessons at students' homes.

I initially contacted Finale wanting information about a specific brand of ukulele (Aiersi) that I was curious about. Nye very quickly replied to my query and answered all the questions I had and also advised me on which particular model would best suit my needs. Finale's customer care is second to none. Add to this their product knowledge, impressive range of instruments and very competitive pricing and you have the perfect retailer of musical instruments. I bought my ukulele with complete confidence and I will certainly buy from Finale again, as soon as I've got enough money saved up for my next ukulele. (And every subsequent one after that!)
Nye should be proud of the glowing reputation he has from his loyal customers and music students alike. Many thanks guys. Expect my next order shortly before Christmas. 👍🏻

I have been playing in Contra Dance pickup bands for a year now, and have been feeling rather lost. This is EXACTLY what I need! Nye's explanations are so simple and clear, even I can get them. Thank you! More...
