I recently had both my kitchen and bathroom remodeled by Fidelity General Contractors. From the first time I contacted them (via Angie's List) for a quote, they responded quickly, and were very friendly. The project manager was great. The minute she walked into my kitchen she could envision just what I wanted. (I have a small 1949 kitchen, but couldn't afford to enlarge the house to enlarge the kitchen. I had to work with the space I had.) I needed the project finished by a certain date (since we were going on a vacation for Spring Break) and despite the original project being just the kitchen, they were able to add the bathroom remodel, flooring, earthquake retrofitting, rain gutters, AND painting (the last few jobs were their outside contractors - all prompt and wonderful) and finished them all by my deadline! They were always immediately responsive to my requests to make sure it was just as we wanted. We called a number of different contractors and flooring companies to get quotes for floor tiling and Fidelity had the best quote, we ended up working with Sam Rafael to not only do the floor but additional kitchen remodelling. We were so pleased with how the kitchen turned out that we also had sam remodel our bathrooms. Sam worked to make sure that the work was done by the deadlines we had, and he followed up and fixed all the minor issues and notes we had during the project. My husband and I were expecting our second child, and were in need for more room, so we made a decision to build out. I was looking for a company that I can trust for this renovation, and to be finishing the work in time before my due date. I hired Fidelity to remodel the kitchen in our condo. We worked mostly with Sam who was very much on top of everything from day one. His team worked worked fast and cleanly, minimizing the kitchen downtime. As project manager, Sam was not on site at all times, but he would stop by at least once a day to check on progress and resolve any issues. He also did a great job at helping us with designs that fit within our budget, and was even very accommodating to last minute design changes. Overall I couldn't be more satisfied. I purchased a hot tub from Costco for my backyard, expecting that it would be a simple thing to just plug in and fill up. When the hot tub was dropped off at my curb, I quickly realized I was mistaken . This thing needed a level, concrete slab base and a 240 volt electrical outlet with its own breaker. That meant I needed a concrete paver and electrician. Rather than try to find the specialists, I decided to interview general contractors who could get the job done for a flat fee. I found this company on Yelp. Project manager Sam Rafael came to my home and took measurements. We discussed the job and he seemed earnest and confident that he could get the job done quickly. The price was competitive. Not the cheapest bid I got, but fair. I felt comfortable with Sam so I went ahead with him. Sure enough, the job was completed on schedule and with the proper permits from the city. I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Their sub contractors were hardworking and respectful of my property. The city inspector signed off on it. And now that the weather is getting colder, I have a nice (and safe) hot tub in my yard. Johnathan and his team are awesome! They did a full bath remodel, refinished all our floors, and did a number of other odd jobs in our very first home in Valley Village. We used FGD to do a complete remodel (cabinets, countertop, plumbing, electrical, backsplash) the kitchen of a house we had just purchased. They did an excellent job on our kitchen. Everything was done in a timely manor (estimated 3-4 weeks and finished in just over 2 week). The communication between the both of us was very well as well. Fidelity provided a complete remodel/redesign of our kitchen. From start to finish, the entire team were consumate skilled professionals. We were provided three designs for consideration, each of which were good. However coupled with our initial ideas, the creative designs and suggested recommendations resulted in a finished project that far exceeded our initial thoughts and ideas, and within our budget. Needless to say, in comparison to the other contractors we spoke with, Fidelity far exceeded all others in designs and overall project management.
