I did a photography workshop with Victoria at the weekend and it was fab! The work booklet was great, and is so useful to refer back to, but actually working through it just helped everything to click in my head! We just had our second family photoshoot with Fern & Star. First of all Victoria is absolutely lovely! Before the photoshoot itself she helped out with choosing the best colour scheme for us, and on the day took us to a lovely location, a beautiful walled garden in Calderstones Park. The photos are exactly what we wanted. Natural, beautiful and fun. Our little girl had so much fun and Victoria was really good with her. We absolutely adored our family photoshoot in Allerton towers recently! Victoria is absolutely brilliant and we got exactly what we wanted, beautiful, natural looking photos in an outdoor setting. We were apprehensive after being disappointed by our wedding photography but Victoria was lovely made us all feel comfortable. She was also understanding when we needed to rearrange the date and venue due to unforeseen circumstances. My husband and I wanted to book someone to take some shots of our beautiful baby girl. We had decided that we didn’t want overly posed pictures so I booked Fern and Star photography as I liked the look of the shots I had seen on here. Another massive bonus for us was that Victoria came to our house to photograph our little girl- after only giving birth 8 days prior, this was a must for us as we didn’t want to travel and wanted to feel at ease which Victoria made sure of. It was very relaxed and we went at our own pace (ie if baby girl needed a feed/ change etc that was all accommodated). I would highly recommend Victoria and Fern and Star Photography to anyone. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Ensuring the family are completely relaxed and just enjoying hanging out and spending time together. I capture those special moments in between.
