My handyman neighbor was doing work on my roof and I wanted to make sure he was safely protected and legally covered for the duration of the project by a local qualified broker whom we could speak with directly if any insurance issues came up. We looked at a few vendors including Farmer Brown insurance who he chose because they were able to quickly search multiple providers with less hassle than hunting down all the major providers, kind of like TrueCar or other product comparison services. Since the handyman was building the insurance cost into the project, I was very pleased Farmer Brown was able to get a good range of pricing options and correct coverage.
