My first connection with Fantasy Theatre was when they did a staged reading of my play PLACEMENT in January 2019. Amazing experience. I highly recommend this theater for young and older. Really enjoyed the M Ensemble’s production. Glad to have garage parking. However, the garage stairs are egress only which means you have to walk up the ramp to your vehicle. This is unsafe, not ADA compliant & Miami-Dade needs to undertake immediate corrective action. Security was visible, professional and provided assistance with entry and exit points. More...

Yesterday was my first visit at the Theater to watch "Flyin West". I enjoyed the performance. I was there to support actress Candace Singleton. This is a nice venue that seat � about 150 - 200 comfortably. It clean and has a free parking garage and some street parking. It's accessible by bus. You can conveniently order your tickets online. The staff is courteous. My only criticism is it has limited restrooms. More...

I always worked part time. I started as the office manager, then I began to perform at community events. I was eventually cast in several traveling children's shows and finally I was the marketing director. I was trusted and given the opportunity to learn a lot of new things. I enjoyed the office environment as well as the work I was involved in doing. It was a learning experience, as well as entertaining. I got a first hand look at the entertainment industry and assist & participate in the various productions throughout Dade-County. Overall, I enjoyed working for this company. Management was friendly and approachable, and the co-workers were willing to work with you.There was no typical day at this job, as you got to do different venues and go to different locations. It was never boring.The most enjoyable part of the job, was in interacting with other artist as well as the public.Pros Company was willing to allow me to work aroung my college work schedule.Cons Since it was an entry part-time position, my participation was limited.
