I normally dont leave reviews but today i had to, Rafael is amazing, let me summarise my experience:-We just brought a house in December which had 2 electric meters, 5 consumer units and a emergency battery backup light system- none of it working, The previous developer had made a mess of the wires. We just wanted power to help us start our dream home renovation project.I gave Rafael a call today at 2:30ish and he agreed to look it over at 7pm.What i was expecting:- someone to look it over and price it upWhat i got:- Rafael diagnosed and fixed every consumer unit, socket and lights, including my commercial boiler system, The guy loves his job and is good at it, i was shocked at how little he was charging me. I am renovating this house as a family house and i have already made my mind up to give all the electric work to him and also recommend him to all my family members.I have to apologise to his wife and daughter, He stayed till 10ish to finish the job and i felt guilty and appreciate his commitment to customer satisfaction. I can't rate Rafal and Expert spark enough. from first contact Rafal was communicative and quick to respond to emails. The work involved replacing a consumer unit, sockets and a considerable amount of wiring. The work was done quickly and expertly and they cleaned up after themselves completely. Having used lots of tradesmen over the years with varying levels of satisfaction I can say without hesitation the Rafal is undoubtedly the best tradesman I have ever had the good fortune to hire. He replaced an old fusebox with a modern consumer unit in my house which is an old Victorian property. Things were made more complicated when he discovered an issue with some of the wiring but Rafal recified this and made sure everything was sorted out (and more importantly safe) before he certified the job. From the outset his communication prior to the job was excellent and he was always quick to respond to emails. He turned up exactly as promised and the job was carried out in a professional and friendly manner. When he encountered a problem with the wiring he dealt with it with the minimum of fuss and without complaint. Nor did he use the situation to suddenly increase the price of the job. The fee he charged for the additional work required was more than fair (as indeed was his initial quote) given the amount of time Rafal and his colleague put into the job. They tidied up after themselves and were friendly and polite throughout the day. Rafal made the entire experience from the moment I first asked for a quote to the moment he finished the job utterly stress-free and I have the utmost confidence in the professionalism and thoroughness of the job he did. Not only that but his price was cheaper than every other electrician I approached (some of whom were already finding problems before they'd even seen the work that was required). I cannot recommend Rafal more highly and I will certainly be recommending him to anybody that I know that may need an electrician in the future. More...

Expert Spark has done two excellent jobs for me. The first was to repair the drive pulley on the washing machine, with no parts needed - I though a new machine might have been necessary. The second job was when all three hot water taps in the house did not work - Rafal very efficiently traced the fault to loft insulation debris getting into the loft cistern, requiring pipes to be cut and the "fluff" being removed.
