I’m writing this negative review against a cowboy company that installed a colourshed into my garden.the shed was fitted badly,let’s in water & a slight wind took part of the roof off. after chasing the company with emails and phone calls and there excuses of not having a fitter that’s able to fix the problems I have resorted to keep asking for my money back.I urge anyone if they are thinking of buying anything from this company to run away More...

*Edited - issue resolved now - unsure how to change to recommend company (????) Had ours for just under 5yrs, then we had violent strong winds one night (much less wind speed than the guarantee) and the gate blew off it's hinges. At first we had a little trouble at first getting the gate amended, however once we got through to the right people mainly Steve Beaumont and David Bowen the issue was resolved very quickly and effectively and got that I really appreciate there assistance. Really delighted with the new fence with gate and lock. Looks fantastic and good to know no maintenance required. Stuart when we met to give us the estimate was very professional. No hard sell attitude and gave good advice. On the day of installation stuart and co worker arrived on time and despite the rain continued to work. When they finished the job they left the place clean and tidy. I would highly recommend to anyone considering new fencing to make Stuart at Colourfence their first port of call. When the salesman did eventually turn up he blamed my husband for giving him the wrong postcode. Didn’t even offer to show us a sample, was less than helpful and made us feel like he didn’t want to be here! I called the company and explained that we were still very interested in seeing the product but from a different salesperson. They took our information and our complaint and told me that head office would look into it and contact me back. 6 weeks on we are still waiting for that contact to be made. No wonder there’s no costly repairs, no paining, no treatment. There’s no fence !!!! More...

The food is amazing here. Yes they do the pasta inside the wheel of cheese. But look at the rest of the menu! Fresh delicious ingredients, made perfectly. We enjoyed Basta Pasta very much.

Fabulous meal in a wonderful clean and welcoming environment. Wait staff was pleasant and very helpful. Appetizers were phenomenal. Had the smoked sliced duck breast salad. WOW. Beautiful compliment of flavors. We also had a tuna appetizer that was to die for. It came with a mini potato salad that had wasabe in it. I had the sea urchin pasta. Pastas made to order and cooked perfectly with delicious sauces and additional ingredients added to the dishes. Our party of three ordered from a three course price fixe menu. We chose minestrone soup over the salad. Not overly salty and delicious vegetables. We had three different pasta dishes and all came out delicious. It was capped by a house dessert (a dish similar to flan, made with mango and topped with orange pieces) and coffee. Our only negative was looking for more of the additional ingredients like mushrooms, bacon, smoked salmon and such. That would have given this place five stars. But a very good meal nonetheless. We were very impressed with Bo who made an excellent job of measuring and fitting our fence, and erecting it on his own. As promised he took down our old fence and piled it neatly for removal and was meticulous in getting the new fence to stand in a straight line. We are absolutely thrilled with the appearance of our new colourfence. The workmen were friendly, efficient and very polite and worked so hard digging our rock hard soil and errecting a very smart green fence with a cream trellis top. Had driveway gates and fencing done originally contacted colourfence Newport the chap said he doesn’t fit colourfence gates as they are rubbish I contaced head office who apologised and said they would get colourfence Cardiff to quote me. They fitted the fence and gates after 1 day one gate started to drop then the other I contacted colourfence who said they were booked up till October so couldn’t fix them and offered me a discount which I accepted and agreed to repair the gates myself ( no choice really as they was not coming back to fix them) But after checking the fence carefully it has been touched up with paint were they scratched and bent it during installation although colourfence says not to paint scratches. Don’t waste your money read the bad reviews ( I wish I did) as if something goes wrong as one customer says the guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on I am happy to show you photographic evidence of the terrible job I had done More...

I had cream fence with trellises installed 2014 which look fantastic but now the trellises paint is peeling and started to rust. Rep in Southern Ireland contacted me to confirm they are aware of this and would install new trellises but at a cost, I got a warranty if 25 years and cannot understand why I should pay anything. Although we like the idea of non maintenance I would advise you not to have this installed along a border with a footpath. We have had constant trouble with people, not only kids, banging it or running sticks along it to make a noise. It is very unpleasant sitting out in our garden not knowing when the next idiot will kick it. Someone has scratched their name into it and it was damaged by someone just hours after it was installed. Two years along the line and we are looking to remove it and get a brick wall built, unexpected expense. More...

Very pleased with the professional way we were dealt with. The installer, Chris Howell gave us a quote after carefully measuring the garden and competently explained the various options. Provisional date set for instalation that was kept to. A week before they were due we were informed exactly which days and what times. Chris Howell and Trent Greenaway arrived at 8.30 and existing fence demolished very quickly. It was ready to fall down. Impressed by the way the team worked. Their tidiness and professionalism. There guarantee is a joke! 6 months on and no resolution. The weld snapped on the gate and Colorfence refused to deal with it. Just passed the buck to the franchise installer who no longer worked for them. The installer in his view (and mine) said it was a manufacturers fault not an installation one. Its a garden gate and not withstanding the matter of security we have a busy road and with dogs and a toddler it remains a massive concern. More...

The colour fence looks good but the installer that carried out our installation let the fencing company down, I would advise not to use him as he does things the way he wants he installed a gate which opened outwards onto the drive which has three cars parked so was of no use to us as we cannot use that gate when our cars are parked on the driveway.
