Dog Training
It was for my sister Lori, luckily she had already found Evanescence and it worked out great! The dog no longer bites me!

We have a rescue dog who is very frightened lots of things, especially people. Sammy has worked with us, giving us advice and teaching us how best to deal with her anxieties and help her gain in confidence. Sammy has been SUCH a big help. She loves dogs and is very understanding of them, and us! I wish we'd asked for her help ages ago, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Thank you Sammy! More...

We are so pleased that Sammy is sorting us out with puppy training for Hamish our new Miniature Wired Haired Dachshund! Sammy is a complete expert and showed us numerous training techniques. I found our first training session totally fascinating and so helpful. We are so looking forward to our next session! More...

What do you love most about your job?
Dogs... and more dogs! Being able to work with animals, what's not to love... and don't get me started on puppies! I get paid to play with puppies!!
Seriously, my enjoyment, love and passion, is in helping people and their dogs. In making a difference and changing owners experience with their dogs. I also love working with rescue/traumatised dogs and watching them grow and develop. My really pleasure is seeing the bond and relationship develop between dog and owner.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My background was in working (training and coaching) with people. I was looking for a change and decided to use my life long love of dogs (and all animals) to help dogs and their owners. I wanted to bring my years of experience working with people to help owners train, understand, and work with their dogs.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am fully qualified and insured, with a degree in Canine Behaviour and Training. I keep up to date with CPD and current scientific evidence. I have a life long passion and love for all animals, however my background is working with people. I have 20yrs experience of training and coaching people. This allows me not only to help dogs but also their owners. I am flexible in all my work, adapting to the individual dog and owner. I never do anything to negatively impact owner or dog. Session are fun, informative, supportive and caring - for both dog and owner.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes I can do remote/online assistance if required and I am more than willing to help, via phone, WhatsApp video chat, zoom, etc.
Assistance and help in-between session (in person or remote) is always by email or phone
Please email or phone to book and arrange this.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Due to my own health conditions and care for others I am very conscious about Covid. I no longer run any classes or group activities. I am fully vaccinated and boostered. I am only seeing client one to one, either at my base outdoors, or I have started seeing clients, who are also vaccinated, at their homes. I test myself regularly, and do not go into any busy or social settings.

• Rectify problem behaviours – whether it is the dog or the owner who has the ‘problem’.
• Rectify obedience and training issues that now are, or are becoming, a behavioural problem.
