What do you love most about your job?
I like being able to help people resolve their family law issues. I know that divorce and separation is a very challenging and emotional time for anyone going through it, and I realise that this challenge is made worse by not being able to access advice if a solicitor is unaffordable and legal aid is unavailable. So I like being able to use my skills and knowledge to support those people who would otherwise have to 'go it alone'.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Although I am still entitled to practise as a solicitor, I have seen first hand how difficult it is for people to deal with family law issues on their own if a solicitor is unaffordable, and how traumatic it can be for people if they have nowhere to turn for help. That led me to consider how I could help, and so Ethos Family Solutions evolved with the intention of providing the help and support people need, on a more affordable basis
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer affordable, flexible and accessible family law support and guidance to men and women going through a divorce or separation. I also offer assistance to extended family members such as aunts, uncles or grandparents who may be affected by the divorce or separation and, for example, need help with arranging contact with the children.
I can do as much or as little as a client wants, whether they want help all the way through their case or just want a bit of help at the outset to get a game-plan, or anywhere in between.
I have office space in Swansea and Porthcawl where I can see clients face to face, and I can also offer consultations by phone, email or skype. I'm not just available during normal 'office hours' and am very flexible about when I'm available to my clients.
