This by far was the best investment in myself I ever could have done.. When I walked through Erica's doors, I was my own worst critic, no confidence, anchored by my past, and fearful of my own abilities! I got a massage, hair and makeup done.. But the most important thing I got, was myself back! The pictures are amazing.. I've never seen myself through fresh eyes, I was blown away at myself. However the whole experience that she gives you, when she looks you in the eyes and tells you your worth, and that YOU are beautiful, you leave there with a whole new look on yourself and how others look at you. I don’t really have words to describe how this experience made me feel. I look in the mirror every day, apply a little lip gloss, mascara, poof my hair and figure that’s good enough. So when my daughter bought me this photo shoot for my 50th Birthday; I laughed a little, maybe even asked why. I agreed it would be fun and they’d have their work cut out for them. The day was simply amazing! No matter what I said, Erica and Magdalena assured me to just wait. When I saw myself for the first time…I was speechless and couldn’t believe it was me! I stared at a person I used to know and remembered how beautiful she used to feel. Honestly in shock, all I could proclaim is, “I AM CUTE!!!” and burst into tears. How do you thank someone that gave you what you didn't know you needed?!?!

**Honestly, I am a nightmare to shoot. I am one of those "Shoot me from the MySpace angle" types. Like...I will literally crop my Husband down to one eyeball, if it makes my forehead look good. LOL**

After meeting with Erica, and seeing her passion, we were ALL IN! We went into the day and made a promise to Erica and ourselves to just be US! #PerUsual

Erica was so excited, she put us at ease. In one conversation you can tell this not her job, but her calling! We entrusted her with our intimacy, and given the opportunity, we would again.

We wanted to share our photos, because not everyone knows what true love looks or feels like. She captured ours with every single frame, and every couple should have that experience. Whether they believe they need it or not!

We keep looking at the photos, remembering the day, the laughs, and even discovering something new with each view.

The memories this session gave us are infinite. We have Erica to thank for that!

In fact, this entire experience made us love each other more. It was effortless and necessary.
