I'd highly recommend Eric whatever stage you're at. He's great at tailoring lessons to the individual and finding out what they want and genuinely seems to enjoy himself as much as the pupil. Can't say enough positive about him, Just book him! More...

I went in there with very minor experience. I had lessons when I was 14 and did not gel with my previous tutor. 13 years later I decided to take it up again and Eric helped me establish a better understanding. I learnt a few simple songs within a matter of weeks (Burning Love, Hurt and Over My Head (Cable Car). He helped me with positioning, tempo and helped me work on finger picking which I found incredibly difficult. Absolute sound guy who made it very enjoyable. I have since moved from Blackburn which is a shame but we have stayed in touch and I'm forever asking him for tips and advice. More...
