Dan is a very approachable trainer who makes you feel comfortable, confident and safe in the workouts and training he provides. Not only does he offer programmed one-on-one workouts (so you don’t have to think about, or plan anything yourself) but he offers support and guidance in your nutrition outside of sessions. This accountability and emotional support was a big part of getting better control of my eating. He also explains clearly what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, so you can really put your mind in the muscle, which personally helped me immensely in the session and looking at the big-picture and long term goals. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
With careful planning and consideration for the individual and their specific goal. Everyone’s body is different, so this must be accounted for when planning a fitness programme. I spend a great deal of time with clients, ensuring that correct form is perfected, as targeting specific muscle groups correctly is the best way to ensure progression.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
It really isn’t a secret. Achieving your ideal body can be difficult, but is far from impossible! It just requires an individual who is dedicated and willing to implement changes into their lifestyle to help them on their journey.
What do you love most about your job?
I honestly can’t think of a single thing I don’t love about my job. Having the opportunity to help people make changes to better themselves; there really is no better feeling than that for me. Having the chance to pass on my knowledge and experience that I’ve gained from years of training, is just the best.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It sounds like a cliche, but I wanted to turn my passion into a business. I figured that if I pursued something that I loved doing, then success would inevitably follow, in what ever form that may be.
