I have had condensation issues in my property for years. I reached out to Envirovent and arranged to have a free survey. I was very impressed with the egineer's (Mike) knowledge and what would be required resolve the condensation issue. I was given a quote the next day which I accepted. On the day of the works, The engineer turned up on time and knew exactly what needed to be done (he was briefed very well). Another engineer turned up to install another unit shortly after. All in all the works took just under a working day. The engineers, were both professional and friendly, they made a very good effort to keep our property clean and tiday as they were working. Since the install I have to say that we have started to see the results pretty much immediately. The condenstion that is usually present on the windows have vastly reduced and the air in our property feels fresher. I had three cyclone extractors fitted about two years ago which I have been very happy with. One developed a rattle and on another the remote boost button stopped working. I contacted EnviroVent for help and they very quickly arranged for a service engineer to come out and look at them (at a time convenient to me). To prepare for electrical work in our Victorian basement flat we have had to move the fridge and a bookcase revealing walls behind them for the first time since we had our Envirovent fitted two years ago. We found symptoms of what used to be a significant damp problem e.g rusted metal hair clip, damaged plaster work, discoloured carpet. Thanks to Enviovent, now the walls and floor are bone dry. I have fitted myself one of Envirovents PIV fans. Its been and still is fantastic. I was supply only and got these guys to come and service the unit. They (Dan) were very helpful and as well as the service pointed out a few things to me. A potential hazard that i had never considered.Firewall from next door was not sealed fully - the impact of a fire next door could have been serious for me. After visiting the property, EnviroVent provided a suburb diagnosis of the problem and how their system would remedy the mould and condensation problem. They provided further telephone information and an explanation of the process. This was enough assurance to book an installation of their system. The technicians installed two units, the ECO2 Wall unit and Cyclone fan unit taking care to minimise disruption in the home and safeguarding floors, worksurfaces etc from damage. Their workmanship was excellent, and they left the property clear and tidy. So far, both units are doing their ‘thing’ in keeping the mould problem at bay. We live in a lovely little Grade 2 listed sandstone Lodge in Liverpool. When we first moved into our home, unbeknownst to us, it was plagued with mould and condensation. We had a converted basement that we couldn't use, as everything in it quickly become covered in mould including our clothes, furniture and curtains, and the smell was atrocious. Then upstairs, for 5/6 months of the year, every window would be dripping in condensation from simply the weather or cooking. Also we had to wipe mould of the bedroom walls frequently. It was a laborious job cleaning it on a near daily basis. I actually was starting to feel depressed, wondering how we could live in the property or worse still - how could we sell it? Every evening we spent hours on the internet researching how we could solve this problem. Eventually, we came across EnviroVent. We read the reviews and couldn't quite believe it as it seemed these fans could solve our problems. We booked an appointment and Kevin came round to the house. He offered expert advice. We bought three items: Mr Venty ECO2 Wall mounted unit, Cyclone 7 (SF-CYC-230V) and the SF-SIL100T - Silent running extract fan withadjustable timer. Keith fitted them. The entire service has been amazing from consultation to fitting. I have waited a year to write this review as I have wanted to see if the fans work throughout all seasons and solve our problems with mould, condensation and dampness. I am delighted to say that yes they do! I love living in my home now and no longer have fears about selling the property (now I don't want to sell it though!) - without exaggeration - it's been pretty life-changing for us. The sheer excitement of buying our first ever flat was tarnished somewhat, when the winter months rolled in and uncovered a rather serious humidity issue. Resulting in a shocking amount of condensation and mould build up on the bedroom and living room walls.After an afternoon of Google searching I stumbled across EnviroVent, who's excellent reviews left me no choice but to book a quote. Kate responded quickly and within a week was round the flat, demonstrating the recommended products & took readings of the humidity - which highlighted just how bad our situation was! The installation took a little while to get booked in, which is understandable given the time of year. The lads turned up on time (and on the morning after the big snow) and were in and out in a flash. We have a large 1906 house that had condensation on the windows++, a musty smell and spores on the walls. I was told about positive pressure ventilation and while being sceptical took the plunge with envirovent. Expensive, yes tho the interest free credit softened the blow. Our blower is quiet and efficient and most importantly from a situation of pools of water on the windowsills we now barely see any condensation on the windows.
