Wendy and I can not begin to thank you enough for the most jaw dropping, exquisite display of cakes that I think we have ever seen. Guests took some time to realise that they were not real cups and saucers and that it was edible in its entirety. (Not to mention catering for guests with food allergies as you did). We have recently married (21/8/15) and we just wanted to say Thank You for the amazing piece of art that was our cake. Emily was amazing right from our first discussions all the way to the end. She manages to project your thoughts into real life which for someone like me who knows what I like but can't quite describe it, is quite amazing!! Emily discussed options with us and gave us some ideas which really helped with the planning. When we saw the cake on the day we were blown away, it was perfect from top to bottom. We had 4 tiers with a stunning blue floral and some classic ruffles. We also had individual cake pops for place setting for all our guests. The cake was the talk of the reception everyone loved it and it really was a centre piece and to taste it....Wow! I'm still enjoying the remaining fruit cake..and I'm not sharing it! Thank you Emily. Emily is a wonder. We met her at a wedding fayre and her beautiful teacup cakes inspired the theme of our wedding... alice in wonderland. We married on 21/04/16 . Emily made us 10 teacups so we could have some gifts for extra special people and a teapot as our main cake. The whole set up was simply beautiful. All of our guests commented on the beautiful tea set in the corner. Then we told everyone it was a cake and they all went back for another look. No one could believe it. The hand painted details were perfect. Most people have cake left after the wedding but it was so delicious that it was all gone by the following day.

Wow wow wow – what can I say! Our wedding cake exceeded ALL expectations! It was the talk of the wedding – and for months and months after. Emily is so talented, there is noone else like her! She made us a tower of 120 hand painted tea cups. Her eye for detail is impeccable, each tea cup was beautiful and looked far too lovely to eat. It wasn’t until we cut the cake that the guests realised they were edible, they couldn’t believe it! They tasted absolutely delicious with surprise jam in the middle when you took a bite.
Emily you are truly amazing and we wish you every success with your flourishing business.

Emily created the most exquisite cake for our wedding celebration (we eloped last December). It was based on botanical prints of wild flowers and herbs and Emily interpreted our ideas to perfection. The cake had wow factor, to the point that there was a collective sharp intake of breath when we dared to cut it! It tasted completely delicious too. I am a big dessert connoisseur so everyone joked that they knew our wedding cake would be amazing and delicious, but they were blown away when they saw it and actually tasted it.
Picking Emily was one of the best decisions we could have made. Desserts and cakes mean a lot to me as I'm the Senior Sous and Pastry Chef of Rick Stein in Australia. I love it! So, when I started looking at cake vendors and found Emily through Instagram I couldn't wait to come back home to the uk to meet her. I think I was more excited about my cake appointment than my dress appointments!Emily was very responsive over emails and we had a great time meeting her for our tasting and discussing design over a cup of tea in her lovely cake studio. We initially tried and lemon and blueberry cake it was incredible. We decided on a two tier cake with one extra kitchen cake to be left in the kitchen. We finally narrowed it down to three flavours lemon and blueberry, carrot cake and a fruit cake. Emily did an initial sketch and then she sent me some beautiful designs keeping to my colour scheme of pink, blush, navy and gold. We've now framed our design as a keepsake. The cake on the day was phenomenal! exactly what we wanted and described but, better. I had a number of people tell me it was the best cake they have ever eaten! Emily is a lovely lady who is an incredibly talented artist and cake maker par excellence. Our Garden Birds and Roses wedding cake was a dream come true! The artwork was superb.
