EmbroidMe recently jumped through hoops-- including during a snow storm-- to get a very important rush job done for me. I can't speak highly enough about-- or over-emphasize-- the lengths they went to in order to get my rush job done well and on time. I had used EmbroidMe over the past couple of years a number of times to put my name/logo on my chef coats: I was always impressed with how pleasant and professional they were to work with, how good the work looked, and how well the embroidery held up on my well-laundered chef coats even after a couple of years. But this recent job really put it to the test: they went so far as to drive at 10pm at night in snow to ensure we had our coats before flying out the following morning. I wanted my logo added to scrubs and contacted EmbroidMe Tenafly. I was impressed with their customer service from the beginning. They are patient and responsive. Luanne contacted me to notify me in advance that my logo design may not have all the nuances as an embroidery due to the detail and gradient colors but that she would try to capture the detail. That also impressed me. I liked that they took the time to let me know upfront that this may not work. At first I was disappointed but to my surprise when I received the "sew out" I decided to approve the job. To say the least, the finished product exceeded my expectations. As a real estate broker in NYC, I needed something useful to mail to past clients along with a card for the holidays. Tracy sent me numerous options, and when I narrowed it down to personalized portable cell phone chargers, she pointed me in the direction of the best quality product, as opposed to the most expensive. She went back and forth with the vendor and me numerous times on color choices and even double checked that my colors wouldn't "bleed" or that the background wouldn't overpower my branding. Tracy emailed me detailed pricing and I ended up ordering around $1600 worth of chargers. They were conveniently delivered to my NYC office and Tracy followed up to be sure everything was correct upon arrival. I've been using one of the portable chargers myself and they appear to be high quality and so far no issues. I would definitely order from them again and avoid the pushy marketing salespeople that I typically encounter in my business and deal with a stand-up person that demonstrates in-depth product knowledge and great customer service. What inspired you to start your own business?
Embroidery has been around for hundreds of years; but until EmbroidMe, it was difficult to find a store with specialists who had the expertise. This reality intrigued franchising veteran Ray Titus, who realized that the $20 billion embroidery industry could use some of the same expertise and initiative he had already applied to building SIGNARAMA, the world's largest sign franchise with more than 700 locations in 37 countries.
In 2000, Mr. Titus opened the first EmbroidMe store in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a full-service resource center that combined a wide variety of apparel and promotional items. It was an immediate success.
