This is completely untrue, I did not change any dates last minute? It was always intended for the Saturday. I was also confirmed to that there was a confirmation on the Friday with the Marquee company for the Saturday delivery, and if tehre was any doubt at all, I could've been consulted. But I received a text to confirm all is in order. I want to be very clear, I was quoted a price for the full party planning which included marquee, decoration and catering services. That is what I paid and paid 5 days prior to the event as per Anne's request. ? The marquee company may have agreed to refund, but I am still waiting for may money back today and it is the 16th March . The event was 4 March 2017. I was extremely reasonable about it all up until the point where I am struggling to get my refund. I have been seeking third party advice on this matter, is not customary to wait for a supplier refund, before refunding the client. its been over two weeks and I am still battling to get my refund from the events company.!!!!

Hi hired Anne as a party planner/events manager forcmy 40th birthday party. This was my first event experience using an events company and sadly my last as I did not enjoy the experience.
On the day of the party I received a text to advise the marquee supplier has cancelled. Being completely understanding as these things happen I accepted this. However Anne completely withdrew herself from the event, i.e. Cancelled the furniture without advising me, decide not to come through to the event as it's no point and just completely left me to handle any contingency plan..
Thank goodness for the catering company who I sourced, as she saved my day by helping me do what I really expected my events manager to do and what I've paid upfront for.

To make matters worse I've had to initiate all contact to get a refund. It's been 5 days since I spoke to Anne and no update on where my refund is. I've left several messages and no reply.
I want to leave this review, because for an ordinary person the street, whose paid a substantial amount of money, these type of incidents cause a significant amount of stress and anxiety.
I am being advised that I will receive my refund when the marquee supplier returns it?m which was 5 days ago. This is completely unfair treatment and unacceptable. Also not responding or replying to calls from a client is just poor.
I hope this doesn't end up in a some legal battle as the stress and anxiety I've had to endure is more than enough .as it is.
It would be very hard for me to recommend her services and to use an events company again...
I apologise for other events companies, as it's businesses like these who give you a bad name in the industry!

The Marquee company have accepted and agreed a full refund.
It is worth stating that the set up date was changed at short notice by Nadia herself from the Friday to Saturday as she now would not be at home. Suppliers arrived with disco floor , glitter ball etc. but she turned them all away, only accepting party balloons. As an event company we work continuously to support our clients and pride ourselves in good customer care. We have followed up with phone calls, text and emails and always responded promptly to any calls from this client. It is also worth noting we have not taken any commission for this job and received no payment from Nadia for any event management fees. She has only paid for her caterers and no other charges.
I hope this clarifies the situation.

Unfortunately we hired this company to undertake an end of tenancy clean. They outsourced the work and the result was appalling. The cleaners were late, rude and other than pour water all over a wooden floor they did not do their job at all. They did not even come with any cleaning products and left the property after just over an hour without notifying anyone. Unfortunately after admitting responsibility and advising a full refund would be provided it is two months later and nothing has been received. Several opportunities for correspondence have been offered but we are now being ignored and have to take the legal route. An appalling service.

I did some cleaning for this company and I still haven't been paid unfortunately, so I'm having to go down the legal route which is a shame.

EA Event Management replied:
Unfortunately we unsourced this job to another company Sherie Haines and the cleaning work requested was NOT carried out, our has client has been fully reimbursed and offered a courtesy clean at their new property.We will not be outsourcing again and will only use vetted staff within our own company.

I sort of used this group. I booked one week in advance, which the cancelled the day before, and then tried to replace it with a person who lived 100s of miles away, before they gave up altogether. They asked me to call the cleaner to arrange the timings, which is what I am paying them for! Nice people but horrifically disorganized and unreliable. A real shame.
