I would definitely recommend Dukes Boarding Kennels, they were absolutely brilliant at looking after our boys. It was good to see the photos and videos of them enjoying themselves. Excellent place.

Left our dog Jocko at Dukes for the first time. He had stayed in other kennels so why change? Firstly before his stay we turned up unannounced and asked to see the kennels. This was no problem. We were shown the kennels. Spotlessly clean and brightly coloured. Each kennel has fresh water and a comfortable basket. All enclosed but area that dogs could go into outside pen plus large area for dogs to exercise. On that basis we booked Jocko in for one week stay. Jocko gets very fretful so we took his blanket and toys. It was real reassuring that we could see how he was getting on with photos and videos. When we picked him up he looked great, he had been given a bath. And his coat was shiny. His bedding had even been washed. great kennels, staff are friendly and really love the dogs they look after, clean & spacious, would recommend to anyone, the post pictures to Facebook which is reassuring if you are little anxious to leave your pet, my dog was very happy to meet me on arrival

Picked my beagle up after an almost 2 week stay and it was like he didn't want to leave! The kennels are clean and well looked after by the friendly staff. The picture and video updates on Facebook are a nice touch, you can see your dogs are happy and being cared for. We put our boy Benjamin in with Duke Kennels and he seemed to love it, they shared photos and videos to give owners updates on how they are and it’s reasonably priced. I’ve put my dog max in dukes kennels 3 times now . I would highly recommend it. He always seems happy and healthy when I pick him up and we’re regular updated with pictures and videos whilst on holiday. Staff are also very friendly .

My yorkshire terrier has stayed here twice now and I was a little worried about how he would cope as he'd never stayed in a kennel before. Toby is also a dog that can get quite anxious when out of his comfort zone. Despite our worries, Toby was extremely well looked after and it was lovely to be able to see how he was getting on via Duke's Facebook page. Not only did Toby make a friend, he also went on a slide! We highly recommend Dukes ,due to a family holiday,we had to leave our 8 month old Puppy Lady. I was devastated leaving her,but I needn't have worried,the staff at Dukes are amazing. Left my dog there for two weeks.It was his first time in a kennel or with someone he didn't know at all.When i went there to leave him i got really insecure about how he would react in such environment. 4 stars. Nice clean and tidy kennels. I took my two babies here when I went on holiday for 8 days, no problems at all apart from them having a little weight loss and sneezing which I’m not quite sure as to why when they had their kennel cough jab. But good place.

Don’t know how anyone can leave there dogs here. We live over the other side of the meadows and the can hear the dogs barking non stop day and night. The kennels are built on a flood plain and after a lot of rain it is like a swamp. Dogs are not cared for properly. More...

My two dogs stayed her for 6 days, they have never stayes in kennels before so I was a little worried about how they would cope. I was super scared about leaving Rockie for the weekend but I had absolutely nothing to worry about when we arrived the staff were very friendly and put us at ease straight away. I really like that they let us take Rockie to the kennel he would be staying in which made me feel better as we had a visual of where he would be and it was clean and tidy! I also liked the fact that the staff are personable when we came to collect Rockie the guy new who we were and took us straight to him. Overall we have been very happy with the service from Dukes, we booked in short notice due to a mix up with our original booking here but gladly we were still accommodated. They post regular updates on their Facebook page so you get to see how your dog is getting on. When we picked out dog up he seemed happy and healthy an unlike other kennels he did not stink of urine or anything of the like.
