I had a delicious meal here. The starters were amazing, I had the vegetable samosas on which the pastry was perfect and crispy, the filling was so flavoursome with a great texture. My friend has the scallops which were fantastic. My friend had the mixed tandoori main, it was very nice, although perhaps more than I would expect to pay, the curry sauce that came with it had a strong taste of tomato soup. I had the special that was sold to me as medium-hot home style chicken was not hot in the slightest and was not like any home cooking I had had. It was still pleasant though. If I were to go again I would order different mains - perhaps just sticking to ordering lots of starters as they were so good! More...

We had our wedding here at the walled garden in 3rd August 2019 and oh my goodness, what an fantastic day it was! Planners were amazing from start to finish, staff on the day was exceptional! Not 1 thing went wrong. I had done them a floor plan and how I wanted things place around the marquee and they had done it perfectly! When we booked they had the dance floor in so I was really gutted when they got rid of it but they managed to sort us one out and it was even better Highly recommended !! We had our day here on 8th August. We had planned an outdoor ceremony and we were lucky that it was the most beautiful sunny day. The garden is stunning and was ideal for the relaxed family friendly day we wanted. The children could run around and play safely and the adults enjoyed drinks in the sun. The venue is so pretty and well maintained so well that not much decor is really needed to enhance it. The food (we went for alfresco cooked bbq style for day and paella for eve) was incredible and was complimented by all of our guests. The staff were so helpful throughout. Relaxed but totally on the ball and we can’t thank them enough. Jade and Bryany in particular were angels! We recently had our wedding at The Walled Garden and it was the most perfect day. We originally booked a different venue in Nottingham and had a really negative experience with their planners so we decided to look else where. The team at The Walled Garden were amazing from start to finish, we were able to have all of our meetings via Skype instead of travelling to the venue. The team were quick to answer any questions we had along the way. I must say this is one of the best restaurants not only in UK but entire world. I can say this based on the fact that I have lived in 5 different countries across 4 continents and travel globally. Amita the owner (the gorgeous lady who wears signature saris and warm smile) ensures to look after all the guests with 100% genuine care. When she got to know that my little ones birthdays was in a weeks time. She planned a surprise for her and her sister (icecream, cake and ofcourse signing birthday song for her and didnt even charge for it) the look on my little ones face was just phenomenal. Now the trouble is she and her sister wants to visit them every year for their birthdays ...lolz... the food is super authentic and worth the price you pay for, it's not a meal which is offered here, they offer a true delightful experience. There is lot of kindness and representation of superb hospitality here. The people who work here obviously put in their hearts and soul in what they do. This place is amazing. Seafood starter with the tastiest (and biggest) prawns I've had and cod cheeks which were one of the best pieces of fish I've ever eaten. Spicing was on point throughout the meal and everything was balanced to perfection. My only feedback is that the mains came out slightly too fast after the starters which was only a negative as we wanted the experience to last longer. What do you love most about your job?
There are several answers to this. First has to be being allowed to be a part of such a big day, and putting a smile on every ones faces. Then there is my love of music which spans four decades. Lastly is my OCD with attention to detail. I believe a Wedding Disco should look the part and compliment the rest of the venue décor.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own wedding . The hotel provided us a DJ with our package, so we thought great! What we got was a black cloth covered table, an array of coloured cheap lights and a DJ dressed in jeans who even decided to bring his child along with him for a good time! Nobody was dancing as he was playing all the songs him and his daughter clearly liked. After this I thought that after spending good money on styling the venue, cakes, flowers etc, I wished I had done some research into the entertainment, as the DJ is responsible for nearly half of the day and leaves the last impression. I then decided to put my money where my mouth was and do something about it!
The point I am trying to make here is that this is YOUR day and you have a choice! Do not compromise on something that can make or break your wedding day. I am not saying that all venue provided entertainment is poor, however from experience most will only do the 'bare minimum'. Then there is the DJ that they provide. Who is he/she? Do they know your names and what music you and your guests prefer? Do they do it for a living or just 'on the side'? Have they sat down with you and planned your day to include colour schemes, timings and options? Do they have a show that will 'wow' you and your guests?
After my wedding I was more determined than ever to offer what you deserve for your big day, and I still am!

Personal attention puts Dream above the rest. I believe that a personalised service is paramount for your wedding to be, not only a day to remember but YOUR day to remember. I am extremely flexible in being able to accommodate your requirements. I can offer a full day service, which means I set up early morning and are then on hand throughout the day to play background music and offer radio microphones for speeches/announcements. I also cater for an evening only service, the choice is yours! You are also able to meet with me before deciding on your DJ. This can either be in your own home or a local bar/coffee shop. Here we can discuss your big day and how we can work together to make it a memorable success.
