Amazing hotel. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights as a wee break away and the room was lovely. The food here is great and all staff are so happy and friendly. Any issues were dealt with professionally and quickly. I would highly recommend! There are also buses that run outside the hotel to the city centre every ten minutes (Airlink 100 bus) or there are trams (which are cheaper) which you can access by walking 10 minutes down the road. This hotel is located within walking distance of the terminals if you're brave enough. Otherwise, they have a shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes until 10 AM. After that, you have to request a pickup from the front desk. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was good with traditional Scottish breakfast items (black pudding, haggis, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) available. More...

Very welcoming and so polite. Accommodations were very clean and fresh looking. Dinner selections were wide enough, yet not overwhelming, and well presented. A very comfortable say.

I have stayed here many times but this was the first time under the new brand of Double Tree, previously a Hilton. I was welcomed by a nice young chap on the front desk who said “Double tree is better cos you get a cookie” which I did for free. . a very nice warm chocolate one. He under sells the changes though. The hotel has had what looks like a lot of work done. Rooms are much better, cleaner and have new beds which are very comfortable. Didn’t use the spar on this occasion so I can’t comment... the breakfast was also great :). Amazing service really friendly staff great hotel for a stop off for Edinburgh or a layover. More...

Loved my 1 night stay here during the recent snow storms. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious double room. Free coffee and cookies in reception area. Enjoyed the restaurant and bar facilities too ( although passed on the offer of peanut butter cheesecake for dessert). The spa area was closed due to the inclement weather so didn't have the chance to sample these facilities. Wish I could have stayed for a week! More...

Great hotel, friendly and approachable staff. Great food but odd high pitched noises from plumbing, and I could hear the guy in the next room taking a pee break as if wall was cardboard?
Safe, iron, ironing board, tea facilities, TV and free WiFi (if your a Hilton Honours member).
Good self service breakfast and parking was £9 overnight.

Very convenient location at the Edinburgh airport. Modern, mostly comfortable rooms (queen-sized bed in our room "broadcast" every move). Superb staff, food available nearly any time, and a hearty breakfast buffet (additional fee) to fuel your journey. Free shuttle bus to the airport, runs every 10 minutes. Free WiFi worked consistently well. Highly recommended for a brief stay while transitioning to/from the airport. More...

10 minutes walk from the airport or take the free shuttle that runs fairly often. Clean, comfortable, quiet (despite the proximity to the airport I didn't hear a single plane) and a good selection of hot, cold, meat and vegetarian options.
