Dogwood Media was great for my wedding! We went with them because they had a lot of experience filming at our Church and were familiar with the sound system, but the final product was amazing. We have a full video of our ceremony and a highlight video that brings back memories of the day in a way that photos alone can't do. It's nice to see everyone laughing :DOn a technical level - the ability of both videographers is clearly noticeable. Shots were edited well and the quality is very good. I remember he used this neat contraption at one point that stabilized video and created a neat flyover/drone effect while carrying the camera. I learned a lot from talking to him!I agree with the other reviews about being good with people and helping them feel comfortable. The Greatest Videographer Around!!When we were looking for wedding videographers we had a hard time finding someone we really loved their work but was also affordable - I know a decent amount about videography and photography so I’m extremely picky! All of Matt’s videos made me tear up and made me laugh which is exactly what I was looking for. When we met with him in person he was so great, easy to talk to, very open and engaging, he even told me all about his equipment! :) On our actual wedding day, he was on time, and got to work - he was confident in getting the shots he needed but not invasive as he got the perfect shots! He was great at getting authentic reactions and making people feel comfortable. I think the thing that really set him apart as a wedding vendor is how genuinely happy he was for us. I felt like he treated us like friends and that meant a lot to us. Knowing that he was as excited to be there as we were to have him there really made the day that much more fun! He made sure to get us a sneak peak pretty quickly to hold us over as we wait for the full video! I couldn’t have been more thrilled with choosing Matt and I don’t think you could find a better person to have capture the most important day of your life! Thanks again, Matt! Matt and the Dogwood Media team did an amazing job on our wedding video. Day of, the team was so kind, helpful, and overall funny. They made us laugh throughout the day, causing us to be relaxed and enjoy the beautiful day we had planned. The day after the wedding we received our sneak peak and it had me CRYING because it was perfect. I was stalking my email waiting for the full wedding video. When it arrived, I was taken back in time to my perfect day, down to our voices sharing the vows we had written to one another and my nephew break dancing the night away. At first, my husband saw the wedding video as an expense we could eliminate but after he saw that video he took all of his words back (for the first time ever) and admitted that it was necessary. When I daydream at work about our wedding, I find myself and watching the video over and over again. Dogwood Media made our wedding day even more memorable. Right away we got along with Matt and we knew it was going to be a great fit - easy going and super friendly, yet very professional, and we knew the end product would turn out great. From day one he was in tune with what we wanted for our day. During the day of the wedding him and his crew were right there for anything that we needed or asked of them but they weren’t intrusive and we never felt overwhelmed by having cameras around. They made a beautiful highlight reel for us that made both me and my husband tear up with love and joy and made was want to do our day all over again. They were the best! I can't begin to explain how awesome Matt was at our daughter's wedding. We met briefly at a wedding expo along with numerous other vendors. I talked with him on the phone once and handled everything else via email since we are from out of town. He was always quick to respond to my emails and answer my questions. He has a great personality and worked extremely well with our photographer. He arrived right on time and got straight to work - I never had to give him any directions - he knew exactly what to do and was on it. He made the entire wedding party feel at ease and bonded with everyone! We LOVE Dogwood Media!! Best wedding money spent! We have not even received our wedding video yet, but Matt and Jess are so wonderful to work with, we just had to come rave about them! ! They are spunky, creative, kind, and just incredible people! They had a teaser put together on the same NIGHT as our wedding! What a fun way to relive a few moments from the most wonderful day. After seeing just the short teaser, we can't hardly contain our excitement to see the beautiful finished video. It felt like we just had friends following us around all day, giving us small tips for what to do in order to capture some sweet sweet moments. Wow! Words cannot express how much I adore Dogwood Media! They were truly unbelievable to work with throughout my entire video shoot! All the videos are very organized on the usb which makes it very easy. I got to see what was going on during the day which I didn't get to see in the moment, and it was like being a fly on the wall watching everything. Wedding videography was the best wedding purchase we made, and to think we had questioned if we even were going to go with it. If I had to do it all over again, there would be nobody else I would ever want other than Matt! I didn't actually meet Matt until the day of my wedding, but I felt like we were good friends only a week into planning our wedding video. Matt was so easy to work with, responding to any questions we had very quickly and being as accommodating as possible. One of the things that really stood out was to me was when we weren't sure if my now husbands father was going to attend due to health reasons and Matt offered to go to the hospital and make a special video just for him. Can you ask for anyone better than that?! Matt was able to capture all the big moments of our day very getting ready, the ceremony, reception and send off. He even made it special by adding drone features! We received a teaser video of our wedding the VERY NEXT DAY! Matt from Dogwood Media came highly recommended to us by our wedding planner and was an excellent choice for our wedding videography! Prior to the wedding, Matt offered to meet with us to discuss any vision we had for the video. Although we weren't able to meet with Matt prior to the wedding because we were planning our wedding from out of state, Matt was always very responsive and easy to communicate with via email.
