Me and my partner took our 12 month old cocker spaniel ( Rosie) and our 8 week old German shepherd cross Doberman puppy (Aura) to Melissa for a groom and a puppy introduction. We arrived and were made welcome and Melissa talked us through what the groom entailed and answered all questions we had. We left the dogs to be groomed and Melissa said she would call or text 15 mins before the groom finished to let us know when to pick the dogs up. We came back to 2 very happy doggies. We were worried about how Aura would be but Melissa assured us that all was fine and the dogs were happy and smelt and looked fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone More...

What do you love most about your job?
I have always loved animals, especially dogs and horses. I always look forward to my job as a dog groomer, as I am doing something I enjoy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After raising a family, I decided I wanted to go back to work . I always wanted to work with animals and have my own business, so I decided I was going to train to become a dog groomer and run my own business from home. I went to college and got my Level 2 and 3 City Guild qualifications in dog grooming and worked 2 days a week voluntary at a dog groomers to get experience.
